HOBBY KING - BUSY BEE Glider plane

Would like to thank to our friendly local flier for giving away one of his used FPV plane as my first step towards flying an aeroplane. I made my successful first flight on FPV glider plane "Hobby King - BUSY BEE" without any problem only just minor noob on landing of course. Flying an a glider plane seem to be more relaxing and forgiving than my helicopter. I can enjoy much of the sky scenery with this. When i received this plane it was just bare kit, with servo, broken front gear and mess up physical appearance. I've paid extra for the brushless motor which is a good deal, I took two nights to refurbish and mods the aeroplane back to its best condition and finally it looks good on its fourth maiden flight in very gloomy windy morning...still the landing was a rough ride but acceptable.

=========================================

Despite having overall almost bad review over the internet about this pusher type glider plane i still think it has a decent handling yet i have no problem flying nor not much complain about how it flies...most probably i flew my helicopter pretty much manouver like an aeroplane which makes this flying more easier than i thought it would be. It flew sweet and just need to spent time to get to know it before i could tame into a friendly horse. Between my heli and this plane i have no intention to segregate them because both seem to have different role and ability in its very own field of expertise. Helicopter is thrilling + adrenaline while plane are mentally relaxing and sight seeing joy. Having both of them flying machine every afternoon put a huge smile for eternity. I will post some on board cam videos on this glider once i found a sweet spot to place it on the chassis.

My flight deck

I manage to get some super cheap (some are free) resources for my flying hobby and populate my room since i get myself some good bargain from close friends and local flyer rather than spending much over online shop which is 95% far cheaper, you can say i was walking around asking for bargain and the effort was paid off.  Never hurt to ask around. *wink*.  At the end of the day i got to enjoy my flying hobby without burning a hole in the pocket and still cheaper than spending a meal at fast food outlet, lol.  Now i got bunch of heliopters, kits, bulk load of parts and planes.

Comparison to previous year where i used to enjoyed mostly on ground based models such as car, trucks, buggy both off-road and onroad models.  Shfiting myself to flying took me a big leap and change my perspective about this hobby.  Its far cheaper, less hassle to maintain, clean, super fun, very mature oriented hobby, more socialized activity and get to make friends with new crowds of people everyday.  This activity bring positive than cons. Thumbs up,

TAROT 450 SPORT helicopter

This is my third R/C Heli. A quality well know clone of ALIGN TREX 450 SPORT under the name TAROT branding.  Overall workmanship quality and built almost makes me wonder and asume both TAROT and ALIGN was made under the same factory.  Anyway it was cheaper by 50% getting a TAROT than ALIGN since both perform the same.  As for me if it flies good then it does the job well done. All blue alloy parts and quality carbon fiber built.

It was easy to fly, more stable and high precision in handling. I can do much stable acrobatic move in the air suc as loop, inverted, fast 360 flips, Immelman turn some stuff than what a HK450 GT (aka SE V2). Almost 95% of the parts in SPORTS interchangeable and usable in SE V2 and vice versa. Such improvement include bigger rotor disc, wider swash plate for acrobaticagility, frame mountain simplicity, narrow frame and less slop on the rotor head and tail rotor.
