Race Registration
At 6.00pm everyone already flocked to our friends bike shop for registration and briefing. I took my race plate number "004", free L size T-shrit and gather around with other listening for instruction for tomorrow race protocol.

Ready for mtb racing?
There's a mountain bike race coming soon just around the corner coming this Saturday 31st Oct, i've done registering myself for the race participation. Got few rival from Brunei, Bintulu city and other district which known to have fast competitors. However i haven't been racing for 2 year now. Wonder if i should push myself physically to the limit or just stay cool behind the pack. My mental always say "Yes you can handle it!" but my muscles "Nay!" cause my age seem to depreciate overal performance of my body. After peering into collection of medals and thropy inside the cupboard that i won in the pass few years ago i was wondering...man i do feel old now. Somehow the best i can do is finish the race regardless what position.

Lets crawling
Woke up early in the morning just to join my buddies out crawling nearby our house where lots of rocky steep cliff are. Its time to test out my new creation built from ground up with high tech parts and some mechanical junkies into 4WD r/c rock crawler. After done hooked the models into the computer for 1 hour tuning work then we head straight to the rocky hills. Played for almost 3 hours under the scorching mid morning sun, with precision maneuvering on the steering and gentle stroke on the throttle my crawler gripping the rocks like spider climbing way up to the top. All the mechanical and electronics such as suspension, drive system, radio response and motor system perform flawlessly. I'm happy to achive a mini scale products that works wonders.

XAVAGE GT: HATSUNE MIKU

Its been so long i haven't been doing some paint touch up doing theme type paint works on my newly design vehicle models. The last i remember was on CYBORX and thats it. Well why not on XAVAGE. Wasn't until Rafael made special request which i "think" and yes helped made a theme type XAVAGE based on PSP/SEGA idol sing character HATSUNE MIKU: PROJECT DIVA. I decided to use the GT version of XAVAGE with concept type kit which i previously built on second variant XAVAGE which took me 5 hours to built the kit on Z-modeler. Btw the theme set looks cool, honesty i felt i wanna keep it as private but anyways its good to share it with others since everyone is eagerly waiting for year to get XAVAGE on their hands.

We kick of at 3pm with long ride via main road towards Sungai Rait before enter the dusty rocky off-road longing trails which took almost an hour plus another 45 minutes a blast into the jungle trails behind Taman Tunku and exit towards Esplanade at full speed cause we can smelll mouth watering BBQ waiting for us at the finish line which we arrived at 5.15pm. We grab ourself some BBQ meat, salads, veges, fishes, carbonate drinks and at the end few bottles of beers. We gather around for chats and some laughs about funny stories, plus some heavy beers few get too carried away and got doze behind the pickup. We spend our happy hours till almost hit 10pm and then we packed for home before we got to much intoxicated with foods and beers. At night it was hot, my body felt so heavy and hot because my tummy all full. What a day. Bbrrrrppppp!!!.....ahhhhhh!!!

In and out of the bush
After a week been lazy bum on the sofa...and due to weather factor finally the bright Sunday morning give way for me to get my mood back on the bike and join the Sunday ride which all of us going to bash around nearby natural local trails just beside the baron hills. Startup with hard stretchy hill climbs, a zig zag around the trees, downhill steep and loose hill then away into the bushy dry trails going down the road. We made 4 loops and thats it. Cus i didn't bring my Camelbak full with water.

Week 5..no z-modeler
After long break i still not in the mood to stick my butt infront of the computer and whizz my mouse around on z-modeler 3d tools. Something tells me i should take more rest enjoying myself with other stuff first until some sparks of ideas get me going back again. Anyways everyday been busy around doing some designs, graphics, sites and some custom model building for clients. I wish there were at least 48 hours per day, 12 working hours, 2 hour for meal, 9 hours sleep and the rest will be my design hobby. Hmmmm.... put that on my afterlife wish list.

More performance and bling upgrades.
After gain budget doing some designs for customer i manage to chip in few budget for my MB4 truggy. Unlike last time this time it all about getting it more rigid, tougher, durable and longer runtime:
New stuff under the hood:
---------------------------------
-Turnigy 3700kv brushless motor sized 370 long case.
-Few sets of Rhino 3750mah 2s 25c lipo pack.
-3Racing and Yeah racing suspension, steering reinforcement parts.
-Yeah Racing Tornado motor cooling fan
-Atomic mods wheel drive shafts
-Sets of GRP racing on-road foam tyres (not on picture)
-HITEC HS225 MG mighty mini servo
-Anderson MB4 Carbon Graphite chassis
-LRP sets of pinion gears
plus dozen of spare parts...just incase if anything gone wrong when flying in the air.
Outdoors MB4 perform great after upgrades. longer runtime, huge torque power, better handling and spew more dirt into the air than before. On local track it did very well against 1/10 touring around the corners. Both on-road off-road gave huge satisfaction and made right choice to choose 1/18 scale then my 1/8 nitro. I'm looking forward to mount a video came next time for on-board driving action.

Crawler project gone high tech
Another fun time with some innovative outcome from my brain.
With same scraps taken from junks and few from incompatible MB4 parts all those good resources and material went over to my custom crawler.
-custom 2mm bore 6t pinion
-Yeah racing brushless fan for ESC
-3Racing fan + Yeah racing motor heat sink for dumping heat
-S3003 steering servo
No more over heat issue, longer runtime and more climbing power. All this works reminds me of my young days being inventive in Invention Club minus the budget. After successfull climb all those miscellaneous stuff around the house i hope i can bring it out again for real rock climbing activity.
