Earth Hour today!

Lets shut down all our technology or at least if must use try minimal your usage on electricity. Use phone or notebook if you need to surf the internet. Stop watching TV, turn of your fan, Air Conditioner, Stereo, washing machine and any appliances that uses high amount of electricity...unless you own a solar powered electric generator.  Its Earth hour today.    Use bicycle, stop the pollution. Beside i've been practicing it every year except using car to work was is unavoidable option in very rainy tropical country.   Today i planned to go out cycling instead having to stuck in the house sticking my head in front of power guzzling appliances.  But i bet not everyone is going for  earth hour completely because that's part of humanity irony against it. People nowadays too dependent electric and fosils a driven technology. Why not once in a while just goi out and experience what mother nature has to offer.  Again i say, Get a Bicycle!.

Another broken sunday!

Never felt so bad  having my Sunday a major drag with pocket to burn later.  Ride in the middle of the jungle miles away from civilization and 'bam!' i got permanently broken drive terrains my mountain bike in the middle of no where. Let see...that was USD$210 shitty Shimano XTR parts gone down the pit this month, rear derailuer, frame drop-out hinges and chains going goodbye.  With almost storm coming in on windy evening i cut the chain short to fit the whole gear into single speed setup so i could continue pedal and a whizz my way miles to the pit stop and drove back home in agony.  Why agony because i expect to spend my budget for computer hardware for my 3D work...mmmmm NVIDIA..... Should have followed my instinct not to ride my MTB yesterday.  On the bright side though i still have my road bike to keep my legs alive this week....i really hate lycra tights.

Notebook lesson

Nowadays most most manufacture especially from branded ones prefer cheap operating cost to manufacture notebook with mass quantity. Compaq, Dell and etc are one of the corporates.  Just look at my lappy above i have to dismantel every month to resolder back the chip on the board due to overheating which its model are known for faulty engineering having defected soldering on Nvidia chip that was installed by their contractor. However their recall only made 5 years after but at limited replacement.   Can't trust any lappy these days.  Research over google every 10 lappy there are 7 bound to malfunction.  Computer makers are very cheap skates recently. Consumer beware!

Cancer Striken

For my family its was a sad moment of disbelief after hearing my mother receive a doctor report confirm my mom diagnosed with cancer below the colon which comes along with a growth within She didn't tell me at what level the cancer at but i have a premonition she's hiding some fact about it. My mother says not to worry so much about her. I can see it in her eyes she was ready to face the uncertainty of her future, her gesture shows she is very much worry about us children especially our youngest ones. Long tiring chemotheraphy and surgery was on her schedule next month and beyond leaving us to planned our duties to take care of everything especially our young ones who are still schooling for the entire months which is ok for us since its part of our family responsibility. Everyday i made my prayer to our god asking for a miracle so that He may cure my mother's cancer illness and hope she live long enough to see the future of his children (us).

Hearing my mother having a cancer doesn't made me feeling grief about it but was at disbelief. That is because it "suddenly" too frequent inflicted my family and our relative which probability by almost 80%.
Since last year and now my sister, few aunts and relative was diagnosed with tumour and cancer and have been through lots of procedure to remove it at early stage. Known as fatal diseases at final state it was a life and death issue which translated to shortened ones life by approx five year if not treated. It made me wonder how our decent clean everyday live can ended up in such health disaster to everyone. It looks like modern day by products human manufacturing have something to do with this. Tumour and Cancer seldom hear back between 70's and the 90's but in year 2000 and beyond health statistic shown there's an increase of Tumour and Cancer patient exponential with the arise of modern day processed products such as food and households item. Work hazard and usage of technology can posed hazard too. After narrowing down common probabilites that inflict my family and relative i hinted it should have been the food we consume everyday.

You don't get much quality food nowadays, foods as mass produced at low cost to gain more profit. Which use cheap ingredients, low cost quality control and lots of shortcuts to get the product done without considering some health factor. This are "Rich" cheap food. In the 90's Fat, Cholesterol and too much sugar kills you, today its those preservative such as Melamine, boric acid, artificial MSG and other artificial ingredients are the ones that kills you with permanent mark to your health. Its was the same ingredients that keep the food looks bulky and keep it last beyond its natural recomended lifeshelf. In the world of profit making is all about put more cost on mass production and cutt less on healthy quality control on foods. I used to work in food industries so i knew much of the stories. Simply said you can't trust any processed food from stores today even the one served from the restaurant. Who knows maybe they used cheap recycled cooking oil or melted plastic to keep your food crunchy. The best practice it to buy fresh raw food, cook it yourself and keep doing some active physical activity and exercise to keep you and your health in shape if want to life a longer life. Food commercialism does kills.

Unhealhty week for everyone

Cold rainy weather have been running rampage for several months. At this time of the year it should have been warm summer and bright blue sky. I'm not sure if human did play major role on global warming or is it part of mother natural doing once in a decade phenomenon or probably changes in sun activity that made the global weather unstable...solar flare thing or neutrino particle. The consequences made us all i'll as abrupt weather changes, i seldom had any terrible flu for year and now i got one last few weeks after exposed to drzzle rains because doing necessary task outdoors. The flu ruin my day for a week just after Chinese New Year festival so it was very bad day being bed ridden for another 5 days with my onlined lappy to keep me occupied. If i have the chances to trade my sickness with other i would rather have my butt injury that a running snotty nose. Fortunately i'm not the only one had it it seems that everyone had it on the same day everywhere since it cold season. I guess this stuff is seasonal. With the advance medical nano technology and freak science discovery, i hope they could banish this lame annoying diseases especially flu and fever to a level of extinction. I missed my beautiful day on 2 wheels.

Best 3 titles this week.

The best thing after finish watching an anime movie is you'll never felt regret to watch it all over and over again, anime always kick ass in every aspect of drama or movie...adventure, romance, horror, thriller, suspense and high adrenaline scene keeps you hungry for more. They always comes out with catchy soundtrack. The story plot always keeps you hold on to your seat. No doubt after every movie or anime episode there nothing to be surprise when you can see hardcore fan club of particular titles musroom all over the internet a day later.

This week my heart fill with joy after watching several anime movies, these are: SUMMER WARS, PAPRIKA and TOKYO GOD FATHER. Was worth watching than compare to whole seasons of LOST episode. SUMMER WARS was very family touching story. PAPRIKA taking science to whole new level and TOKYO GOD FATHER talks about issue of life and relationship.

Here some wiki info about this movie:
SUMMER WARS: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Summer_Wars
PAPRIKA: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paprika_(2006_film)
TOKYO GOD FATHER: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tokyo_Godfathers

Watching and consume every bit of the story line in these movie really helps me to realised what life is all about. Infact it made me appreciate more to stay on and live an adventurous happy life.

Shangri-la

Saw a pack of DVD on sale at the shop in anime section and cought my attention of a character that looks almost something from between LAST EXILE and HAIBANE RENMEI. Its SHANGRI-LA anime spans up to 24 episode with a cover of a girl holding a tech boomerang. Doesn't took a minute to think about getting it, then off to the counter paying it and home i go watching it throughout 3 consecutive nights. One the first night first half of some episodes took toll over my brains because the story plots seems to be twisty and you're bound to open your Ecomomic and Business book to understand what's up with the story atmosphere. The plots comes with mixture of politics, business and stratergy which is suitable for adult or mature audience. It doesn't took that long for me to understand the story after i wiki some info about it the next to catch up for the next night. An on the 3rd night the end. Was the story cool? Yup!

12 year later, finally i got all my favorite lid!

It maybe an obsolete product from GIRO but it still looks cool and lights years a head of other helmet design, infact my car design inspired from these lids which is why i collect them envy for their design, cooling engineering, aerodynamic and durability. 14 years ago i just a college dude when these lids almost reached 4 figure way beyond my deepest pocket. Slowly year by year i collect each helmet one by one until the final puzzle was found on ebay. The last piece was Giro Switch Blade, a piece of "Courage for my Head" (opss...Its BELL's moto). Today i ride mountain and road bike with these. Strap it on it feels like nothing on your head, just felt so cold and chills on my scalps, now thats what i called Ventilations.

Happy new year! 2011

Its new year 2011! Happy new year! I hope this year will turn out to be a great start to renew my ambition and goals before my bones out of calcium as years munch by. Lots of exciting plans and at the same time i have to monitor my budget to fund some beneficial activities. There be a new website, exciting outdoor adventure, serious photography work, new designs, 3d models and hopefully a bright light in relationship. The year 2010 is too short for me and thus kinda trouble some to manage overall activities..i din't realise time just gone in a blink while standing next to nothing. I hope every seconds in year 2011 and forth will be use much wisely and meaning full since life kinda short and i'm already got into my 30's so better pump all my remaining youthfull energy to the max.

Merry christmas!

Its CHRISTMAS! A celebration for the birth of Christ into the world which bring joy, peace and happiness to the world! Merry Christmas everyone! I hope this beautiful Christmas day may bring many good luck and wishes to me and my family and my prayer to the soul and lost soul on earth. As usual i get my day busy with some interesting schedules starting with morning prayer, nice breakfast, internets, out for celebration with friends and staring at the blue sky all day long to keep my inner spirit feel free. I don't really celebrate heavily with crazy party or going out on serious money spending in the town but instead as usual going outdoor and watch the sunset going down and hear the wind whistle in my ear near by the highest peak at local favorite. I think this is the best way to communicate and be one with Christ on his very own birtday today.
Peace to the world!

A-bike!

Saw this cool gadget few months ago at local bike shop but just recently after few convincing fact on youtube about A-BIKE i'm very dire to get one of these and put excitement between my feet. A-BIKE: portable, mniature, foldable, light and versatile bike for my daily commuting outside home. 5kg and fits inside back pack. This is my ultimate solution to my lazy walking days and ideal if i'm going all out for holidays on tour. To bad it was late to grab the last one on store. Wish i knew much earlier through internet. At least don't have to worry about leaving your bike outside unguarded since you can always bring out into the bus, train and into mall. Cool!

Going photography next year? aye!

Well i think i'm going to get old and easy around me. The best way to appreciate life is enjoys the colors of life around me. I've been pause a lot thinking whats up for next year activity. I still got my trusty bikes to keep me wonder around the world for adventure. Well... like throwing at 2 bird with 1 stones i think its best for me to get into photography activity with HD camera strap around me as i travel beyond my living space. Thats it! i'm going for photography to keep my life full of colors...that is really something i could carry around and share other people. Due to budget constraints i do have to keep low getting DSLR camera. I hope i get one soon. Life at 30's aren't worth wasting time so i guess i'll make myself usefull this time. I think i consider myself lucky enough to be able to travel at very distance place where no man able to achieve in one day. Place of interest, scenic surroundings, colored sky and things i can see once in a lifetime. Getting it recorded in the picture is a best bet that i shouldn't miss it. So i think i need to trade my old pc and some junks....ehheeemmm..

Unforeseen circumstances

2 days after the big event my mother health wasn't all that good. Things turn vice versa for her. A week preparation for a big day with all those management, task and burden she carry to keep up with the wedding event took toll on my mother health. Feverish sickness, sinuses, coughing, high body temperature and migraine was too much her to bear. I always advice y mother to take things easy, sleep early and drink more water but she always keep worry about things around her event after my sister wedding was over. There lots of tension and stress aura around her as if i could understand what was happening. It was clear that overall event wasn't well planned and she manages it at very tight schedule until her stress affected her health. I hate last minute planning which is why i seldom going to jump into the same boat but rather took other task which fit well with my time. Day 4 after the wedding my mom still isn't at her best health yet. I pray for my

Congrats to my sister wedding

Congratulation to my sister and his newly wedded husband. It was a memorable day for our family especially for my father and mother who are very much looking forward to see this event happen in our family. The 2 days wedding events went very smooth with huge crowds of relative and friends flood the scene to celebrate my sister wedding day. Most contrast for me was the food, lots of high carbo fuel up my stomach from day till night..as usual i got for very meaty stuff...it took 4 days to finish up the surplus. She looks very beautiful on that special day and was treated like king and queen for a day. As usually my car was decorated as her wedding wagon with white and red linen, ribbons and flower decorated on my black shinning stallion. ..i wish i could keep those decoration for extra 5 more days on the road so i could drive around in funk luxurius style ..but that will make it look awkward to the public street i guess. Unlike most wedding ceremony i've attended i must say my sister wedding was the best, fun and unique compare to others because of highly interactive activity and artist celebrities come to delight us with entertainment and fun to the guests. Once again i would like to say this to my sister and his husband " Wishes you eternal happiness, luck and prosper always". Cheers.

The grave fit for one.

I felt lucky to hear a speech made by a spiritual person few weeks back, it really made me realised how important for us to know that material and luxury object isn't everything we need to live for. For the next few year to come i may accumulate properties like houses, cars, money, entertainment object and investment valuables but if i die someday i will never able to bring all this luxuries along with me into another world nor able to enjoy it. Else i could have been a ghost too tied to material belonging which explain why there are reports of ghosts still posses their old belonging on earth. Which is why all spiritual leaders says we should free our minds from earthly things..so we could depart to heavens with open hearts. Its is true indeed the grave could only fit a person leaving behind properties to family and relative to fought and manage over. Again too many material means to many headache to manage, its better to have none or at minimal to avoid much risks. Honestly i don't feel happy having to much stuff around my belt; car, house, computers, furniture and stuff that i keep for no reasons. If i have an opportunity to live a free life i would choose to take 3 items along with me; a bicycle, money and a mini notebook. Then depart to wonder around the globe visit beautiful places on bicycle. The end.

I believe in Time Travel!

So did Einstein, he too believe because theoretically after he experimented his law of physic and atom stuff....i guess i watched to many National Geographic Channel. When i was small i used to browse to library for science resources and being curious about science and fiction. Those days back in the 80's there's no internet....i would spent from 2pm till almost 10pm after school being in the library holding science book from paranormal activity to time travel for 3 years straight. I learned that the fundamental block of building element was particle of atom and down to neutron and long after that was called GOD Particle. With accumulated knowledge of science throughout the years my believe and understanding science vs fiction tends to mature after weighing between logic and unlogic thinking. Time Travel is indeed possible. The "Worm Hole" is a gate or portal to other time frame actually exist around us but in size smaller than atom itself.....Einstein did say that. Unless we can enlarge this worm hole or either shrink ourself to fit in it then we could probably crawl into tubes that lead to the other side of dimension; it could be parallel universe, past or the future. We can't shrink? Can you tell me how such big massive star could shrink into tiny pint size black hole that could gobble the entire planet?.. Its hard to believe for non believer but the internet give lots of clue to its existance, check out this youtube documentary below. A guy just accidentally warp into the future under the sink and met his own future self and recorded on his phone. Wow! If i could warp into the past the first thing i would jump is going back to 1996 and i would bring her out for a date...who is she? You would never able to guess it. Hahaha.

Space Nuggets!

Check out my "Asteroid banana nugget" marinated with wheat and dip into hot oil for crunchy fried taste. I may not be a good morning chef but i know hot to pull out those morning delicious sweet sticky smell from all natural ingredient food. Unfortunately those non-teflon coated wok took the toll from over burn and sticky residue. But one thing for sure its best to avoid having a take out food from outside due to uncertainty of health hazzard under someone else cooking. Better cook your own for safe and healthy living. Ah yes lately there's been lots of topic about food and heatlh in this blog, i guess being in 30's very much concern about my body since it can't cope much with exposure to health crisis.

I like it hot and windy

Ah! Just the right day to ride my mountain bike on hot and windy afternoon. The sky is clear blue, cotton clouds, dry trails and life full of nature's energy around me. I keep my pace slow and steady climbing up the hills, not in rush like i used too. As i got aged i don't think i'm willing to put too much competitive speed on the trails like racing around up and down with other riders but to ride as nature tourist sight seeing wonders of nature. Lot of alltitiude ride today as we go high above the sea level overlook carpets of forest canopy. The sea looks glowing gold and the grass just like in the Praire hills as it waved by the winds. I wish this hilly trails was my backyard and months of holidays on my calendar so i could spent most of my happy life more meaning full on earth. After years of riding my dependance on living in urban concrete seems to fade and the trump card within in pull me back to mother nature where human used to dwell as habitat. But that doesn't mean being i can't integrate myself with modern world. Thankfully we still got internet connectivity and portable everyday technology behind our bag to keep us updated everywhere we go.

Its a plastic world out there

There are too much plastic in our society, worst its can be found on our daily food consumption everyday. Plastic is not something that our body can digest nor have any useful property into our system. It can cause intestine twisting, ulcer or worse cancer if the plastic successfully disintegrate into smaller particle able to sip though our body tissue and into our blood vein. In real world plastic is used to preserve food cosmetically to increase sales profit by long run but at the same time risking having food hazard to consumer health. This week i accidentally ate what can possibly be a plastic coating to coat sausages rather than natural layer of consumable gelatin. So i ate two of it until i realized my sister warn me to remove those plastic coatings the next day later. Puzzled and stunned i was shock to realized how such thing that looks very consumable everyday item can be plastic when common sense says you could. Worse i deep fried it and i knew the plastic already melted with the meat and i consumed. Well i hope my body could withstand such abuse from tainted hazardous food. 5 days later when having breakfast in the city the same sausages with plastic coatings found inside the food as i could feel it seems too hard to tear down the meat. OMG! plastic seems to be every where and part of normal life which no one seems to notice. I hate to knew the fact that food produces seems to ignore safe food consumption but instead get over high volume of profit through easy and fast production. Sucks indeed.. i should get back to the kitchen and make my own food.

Parasite in my timetable

There is one lesson i learn this month; is never to jump into peoples timetables via unlikely invitation either for the sake of friendship, a helping hands or simply as a favor....its just a bad move. Stuff like that makes your life complicated. In a day there are 24 hours to spent: 10 hours for career, 7 hours for sleep, 2 hours for meal, 2 hours of self commitment and 2 hours for fun and family. However if you have an uninvited buddy barging your timetable you'll have domino effect that ruin your entire timeline of life in your calendar. This week i spent around 4 hours of useless moments doing other people bidding that doesn't seem to bear any productive or positive work both mentally and physically.... and worst your buddy sometimes doesn't know what is a "timeout". "Time Parasite" is when someone steals your time that you've planned earlier by inviting you doing stuff that is "worthless" on your account. "Time is Money"....i used to ignore those statement when i was young, but as i got old in my current 30's time is indeed worth more than just money. Cats have a good set example to follow; they seems to be relaxed, ignore any temptation to follow others into their boots or looking for trouble. They are relaxed, trouble free creature and follow their own tunes. Dog on the other hands like to take invitation, jump into troubles, fights and begging help. I should be like a cat
