FPV bush flight
Here is another advantage flying a slow lightweight EPP foam plane. Its so slow and so light my HK TRISTANIA @ TECHONE SPIRIT EPP foam plane with FPV system on board can easily navigate and fly narrowly above bushes, between trees, fields and places where r/c helicopter could have been. Which is why this is one of my favorite daily fun FPV plane. Everyday i had a cool jungle adventure when i'm not on my mountain bike. Still it needs skilled pilots to move around in such thight and low flying condition to avoid stall, crashes and any posibble low flying mishap. Fourtunately i have tonnes of flight hours and got me some great flying skills, so no problem for this flying ace veteran. lol. *Touch wood*

R/C off-roading shootout
Our flying r/c buddies went off-roading at local nearby hills to shoot a movie for off-roading scene in HD. So we went over to some local favorite hill where i used to ride my mountain bike over and was favorite r/c crawling venue. Our models aren't much consistant in size and type so there lots of funny randomness in action. We are not the type of R/C people who do serious r/c racing yet. But for now we like to hangout out for r/c action and had a good laugh. Well that waht most big boys do at weekends expecially those R/c pilots when they're back on ground.

HK Quad Copter X
I received my quad copter/multi rotor kits two weeks earlier but stalling my time to built it until recently i finally got time to built it because all those PITA (Pain In The @ss) work to reprogram, resoldring, firmware flasing and all those electronic engineering skill stuff to ensure perfection and zero faulty flight. The quad copter size is mini 450mm in length run on 2800KV mini brushless motor, HK/KK multi controller board V2, HK SS 18-25A ESC, GWS style 6x3 standard + counter propellers and TURNIGY 2.4Ghz 9x v2 receiver. I manually loaded Kapteinkuk's latest quad-x configuration firmware into the controller board via AVR programming and also reflash the firmware on ESC to increase the PWM response rate. Took 3 days to build it to perfection. On first maiden flight it was total failure due to ESC cutt-off, after dozen of failed flight i realized due to its weight it needs to have at least 3 cell with 35-50C burst lipo battery. After using the following battery it maindened perfectly, smooth and excellent under heavy wind without further tuning the 3 axis gyro and PID rate. Several cycle of flights i was so hooked up! This thing fly like a dream, could hover on tight spots, fly like and aeroplane, hover like helis and have sharp manouver and 3D flight. However the sounds was unbearable as if it sounds like swarms of bees going coming from afar getting at you. Originally i was thinking putting FPV on this flying platform for public park fly exploration but due to its scary loud bizzare buzzing sounds i think it will freak people up around the park. Someday i will bring it up for forest trail exploration on FPV to look out for mountain biking trails or get a good photo shot angle carrying CANON CYBERSHOT camera soon. This would be a cool flying cam tool.

Slow FPV #3. FPV flying in safer way.
Been doing lots of thinking lately about the risk of flying a huge 1.2m over wing span over crowded places below especially when i'm on FPV (First Person View) flight mode which i know its not a good idea for adventure flight for long term. The weight itself is a major concern since it can be alike brick falling from the sky above if it happens. So i've made some research, studies and found a solution which can lead to safer and fun way to do some FPV adventure without huge risk of public damage property if my plane crashed or anything happen in the future.
The solution: Its a flexy 3D EPP foam 800mm winged sub 290gram super light weight profile plane (HK TRISTANIA EPP 3D @ TECHONE SPIRIT) equipped with lightweight nano FPV hardware that reduce any public damage if crash and safe enough to fly around public places and its very slow. Check out my photos. Its flexy, soft, soo lightweight, thin, slow, economical, easy maintenance, looks friendly, funny and have enough performance to fly anywhere, unlimited heights and required less space to land or you can grab it in the air. Crash test shown it doesn't even cause serious damage to public property, animal or any living thing including people around it. I've did lots of maiden flight with this EPP profile plane, it fun, entertaining 3D plane both to the pilot and the public and capable to fly low and slips though narrow places and places where normal planes though to be impossible and easily grab my hands on it while in the air. Since i'm an adventurous mountain biker i took advantage to fly FPV with this and manage to discover new forest trails, terrains and discover cool places before i decided to jump on my mountain bike. This is forever my favorite FPV plane. Awesome and i'm glad to make this hobby a safer and adventurous activity. More video coming soon on this EPP FPV flight.

Cool FPV dog fight snapshots
Here some cool video snapshots taken from my live FPV video feed flying on AXN floater jet/glider. With "head-tracking" mechanism i able to move my head about to view live around my plane just like real pilot do as i flew around remotely. The feeling was awesome!! Chasing around my buddy's war bird models, flying tandem, parallel, trailing behind planes and move about and around your wingmans just like real combat drama or something that i flew like in simulator or video games. Makes me proud to become a pilot and i fell no regret into flying hobbies. This flying adventure are getting epic each day.

FPV #2 - AXN Cloud FLY floater jet glider
After months of sucessful long distance FPV flight on 1.4m SKY SURFER @HK BIXLER its time to get low and get back where i should be with my flying buddies at our local field. My dream was to fly tandem and parallel with my buddies like ace pilot with his wingmen chasing around the field like a combat dog fight scene. I need to built an FPV plane that is smaller, agile, faster, capable of low pass flight and could catch up with my flying buddies and capture cool air to air dog chasing events. My 1.4m SKY SURFER was too slow and sluggish for the task so i pull out my trusty 1.2m "AXN CLOUD FLY" floater jet/glide and turn it into my second FPV machine with similar FPV set up as my 1.4m wing. Took me around 7 days to setup and two weeks of flight test before i could approve it as reliable FPV flyer for field chasing event. 2 weeks later it was all good, The 1.2m AXN CLOUD FLY pass the flying test and it was good to go for full fun fly operation at our local flying field.
The plane was suitable for short distance circuit flight best for friendly air to air dog fight and chasing. Equipped with modded 270 degree HXT 900 servo pan i could view my friends plane and chase them around the field all round my wings just like watching my allied wingmen at the end of my wing tip. Attached are some fantastic snapshots how the view would looked like from FPV point of view. I'll also be posting the recorded FPV video scene soon about dog figting and combat formation at our local field. This should be an exciting FPV experience. Once again proud to be R/C pilot. Everyday is an adventure up in the air.
