Horny little dude

Looking at this little dude make me sooooooooooooo inspire, brings delight, inspiration, idea ignator and so on. All those complexity, parts in micro scale model make me very horny for new design blue print on my 3d models project. Some adults aren’t into it because they lack of inspiration DNA in their blood. I’m lucky to have those genes. Behold!

Raining day return with vengeance

A week after the race the raining season started to wave out tones of raining cats and dogs every week. By night strong wind, cold chills and rain drops tapping on our roof giving pleasant feeling when sleep at night, however hinders any outdoor activity during the day. Wet season keeping me indoors, I only keep myself busy with some design ideas, client works and playing with pc and Playstation. I haven’t wash my car yet and also tidy up the interior after all that dirt outdoor gears it carry around because when it rains the dirt returns back . I hope next February will be a happy sunny day soon causes my rusty muscles begging for outdoors.

Sunny? Yea…for a while

Oh look sunny noon! True blue sky and hot weather. Wish I fix my bike but not. Anyways the weather will be gloomy again 100% later evening especially when night falls in. Just when my adrenalin kicks in the next weather forecast spoils my day.

Eat all you can

I always remind myself not to waste any food in front of me especially after watching unfortunate people from unfortunate country on tv. I attended wedding dinner (not much people on my table, yeah!), variety of nice cuisines, I gobble up everything i can but on the last dishes the unexpected sour taste prawn kills my stomach and that’s the end of the story. However after the wedding take away Pizza Hut won my heart again and creme back my stomach…..mmmmmmmmmmm. That’ll be the day.

Its raining season!

It been raining for several night till wee morning, by day clouds getting moody and the air is damp and cold. Fluctuating cold temperature destabilized my brain and my body keep shiver even under thick jacket. There not much to do outside the house at time like these. My brain doesn’t pull ideas as efficient unlike before. With toasted bread, cold tea and pc on my desktop I just wag around my mouse device hoping the moving cursor across the screen will put me into a state hypnotism to force all my ideas and innovation out of my cranial.

Shift the tools, jump out from Zmodeler?

Ok I think its about time i set z-modeler tools aside and move on to higher grade, thinking of using Blender 3d tools fully on my next creation as it offer more poly creation feature especially 3gon, UV wrapping and poly smoothing tools. Since my hands isn’t as stable as it used to be and development time is very limited hopefully my next choice either Blender 3D or other compatible programs could increase productivity level and ease my design work.

Custom Rock crawler in 4x4 EVOLUTION?

There’s high possibility a Rock Crawler model is to be built but I’m not sure if its an R/C scale 1/10 models or actual real scale 1/1 vehicle. My outdoor activity with crawler models inspired me to create one since these stuff are technically challenging both driving and building it.

Huge crowds at the door!

Here one huge crowd gathers around my website at http://www.supermotoxl.com per-session. Quite surprise to see more than 180 guest appear in short period of time. Shown here is screenshot photo from the web bottom page online status.

Website migration completed with upgrades and improvement.

After long nights of web site migration process finally I got the website up running at

http://www.supermotoxl.com.

The almost 10 year old website from the official geocities (www.geocities.com/SupermotoXL), chimpusmaximus.com (http://www.chimpusmaximus.com/supermotoxl) and 4x4evo.net/smxl (which now as file storage/mirrored facilities) have been replaced and migrated to new location. The website core running on CMS system hope to cater my needs for ease to update the contents more often rather my old format.
Anyways for those who waiting for XAVAGE release please hold on as I’m taking a break after days of restless work. Thank you.

Extreme saturday crawling

My friend Nick join me for jamboree adventure near my house, surprise to see he got himself an Axial 1/10 heavy upgraded rock crawler against my 1/18 custom crawler. After runing around through steep dangerous rocky obstacles and heavy workout on our steering looks like my 1/18 runs with flying color with high climbing success rates than the bigger ones. However our Saturday afternoon crawling was satisfying. Our addcition to crawling have risen to new heights.

Here come the buggy

After my 1/18 truggy gone mia...(due to undesirable circumstances which i don't want to explain further) i've manage to pickup some scraps left over from truggy and convert it into a buggy using aftermarket upgrade which i aquired from my friend via trade. Took 2 days to re-built including cutting the body shells, painting, parts assembly and stress test.
The buggy looks astonishing with solid sturdy looks, major blue alu bling and pure white luxury look. I didn't paint the rear shell but to give it transparent looks so everyone can see its guts inside. The Buggy now is 20% heavier from my last Truggy setup due to fact most of the suspension arms sets are made from tough alloy metal and stabilizer kit. The low slug shell makes it harder to fit it crowded cockpit which force me to rearrage the wires and components to much lower height. Motor heatsink default bulk out with fan on top forcing me to cut a hole to allow more space for the heatsink set to pop-out, anyways at the sametime giving optimum cooling since its outside sucking more air in. Because its arms are shorter in width against Truggy setup so corneting and stability are much unstable which now rely on driving skill and shocks setup to keep it below the Center Gravity limit.

Take a break, lets crawl

After quite an exhausting mountain bike yesterday why not take my body a rest and watch my latest high tech creation do some off-roading for me outdoors. Here i am under shady afternoon at rocky foundation just nearby my house trying out how capable my home built radio control rock crawler can handle the punishment of harsh environment as it crawl away through impossible obstacles. With few packs of lipo battery spent around 2 hours climbing skillfully and with patient. I like to watch and see how much my creation could reach it peak limit to which how much can the model handle. At last at the end of the session i walk away hapily as i succesfull crawl 100% of the rocky teritory at impossible and extreme condition based on the size of the model itself.

Down goes my medal

After years of mountain bike racing i never felt soo bad getting 9th position. After placing my medal on my cupboard i can see my benchmark in performance drop very bad from top 1,2,3,4 to 5 since 1993-2005 top position and sudden drop to 9th almost closer to lousy rank. 2009 must be very bad for me. Anyways it was last minute training before race. It really caution me to keep my level of stamina back up again soon.
