My weekends went out awesome! Was having a great time flying my helicopter outdoor in the open field with high winds to keep my adrenaline pumping. Zoom fast like a missle, soar high like an eagle and took manly crash without serious damages like a man. Unlike any other land base R/C models i play this one keep my chin held up high to view the open blue sky and white clouds. Really taught me to appreciate the atmospheric beauty in the air. Here some of my recorded event flying my heli ALIGN TREX 100 on video in youtube. Enjoy.

A-bike!

Saw this cool gadget few months ago at local bike shop but just recently after few convincing fact on youtube about A-BIKE i'm very dire to get one of these and put excitement between my feet. A-BIKE: portable, mniature, foldable, light and versatile bike for my daily commuting outside home. 5kg and fits inside back pack. This is my ultimate solution to my lazy walking days and ideal if i'm going all out for holidays on tour. To bad it was late to grab the last one on store. Wish i knew much earlier through internet. At least don't have to worry about leaving your bike outside unguarded since you can always bring out into the bus, train and into mall. Cool!

Crawl master
I still admire how this tiny high tech scaled model crawl around the obstacles and flexing its axle to the max. An inpiration to persuade me to create actual prototype models on my 3d program. Been doing some test for more than 70 hours. This stuff is awesome action sight to behold..

Farewell mini-z
After keeping it for more than a year finally i gave up and decided to sell all my 1/24 scale Hobby Grade r/c car KYOSHO MINI-Z at ultra cheap price to one of our local mini r/c enthusiast. I think i did a right choice since i need some cash to keep up with bigger scale r/c models. Small stuff really high maintenance and need extra care and attention. However i have no regrets since it has taught me lots of basic knowledge about advance R/C technical know how and great deal or hand work and maintenance skill. Its worth keeping for a year then release it to those who knows how to take care of it. Well now i'm concentrating 1/18 and Aircraft r/c hobby to push my self to the next level.

Onboard cam-video ..Duel racing
Here's the video from our Saturday noon 12.30pm play. Got both me allokitty, akiraceo, and eru in it.:
Once again we go crazy on hot Saturday noon at 12.30pm buzzing around carpark with our small scale radio control car.
PSP cam onboard NANDA NRX-18 touring car belong to Akiraceo our forum Member....yup the cam is heavy so the car was not in a good balancing mode. The one chasing from behind is my modified auldey mini-monster chassis equipped with HENG LONG AM 27hz receiver, ESC-Castle Creation 1/18 SIDEWINDER MICRO brushless system 4200KV motor, TOWER PRO 9G mini servo, PN Racing bearings and aluminum gears and lots of hop ups. Turning cheap toys into expensive jewel!
As you can see NRX-18 uses Brushless system 6800KV motor value versus mini monster truck which uses 4200KV brushless motor. Both however equipped with the same ESC system: Castle Creation SIDEWINDER. Too bad i lose the race by 2 second. lucky i didn't put LIPO battery else that NRX-18 eat dust.

Going high tech on Mini's
Looks like my "Do it yourself" custom radio control models going further hightech beyond ordinary toys. My final parts to complete a line of hightech R/C collection have reached its peak. Got me a programmable ESC kit which i can hook my custom made mini r/c via USB programming card connector then link it to the computer where i can easily tune the performance of my car models. This is so cool. No more programming through sound beeping anymore.

Saturday gathering.
My daily schedule always packed with lots of outdoor activity. Like my primary outdoor activity mountain biking i also allow few hours time allowance for R/C hobby which always being at around 4.00pm and onwards. On this specialday i brought some of my R/C on the event spot to try out few models on few laps around the circuit. Among my favorite will always be that yellow mini which have excelent both performance and longer runtimes to keep us enjoyed till the sun goes down behind the horizon. Only few manage to stay back late and almost we do play r/c on daily basis since its a good way to relax after office hours. As for me going back home early always been a bad news as i know i always ended up sleepy on the pillow.

Its mini week!
I almost forgot about 3d work, but this week i'm all hands on mini-z racing and do some modification work. Currently i'm testing out some performance tune up and manage to bought custom body shell of replica SUBARU WRC blue body shell from third party radio control. I convert it and replace my old yellow SUBARU body shell with new ones. Its looks great and extremely well in details. The new body shell comes with workable headlights! I haven't made and FET chip upgrade but still looking for supplier who could supply and install so that i could put 40000rpm motors.
On the other hands it looks like i need to postponed the release of "EXAGE CD 20.0 XL-AM" model work to next week since i'm all excited full filling my time playing radio control car this week.

Time for MINI-Z Radio Control
Btw for me its a good investment, as a 3d design and modeler for car, trucks, 4wd and etc i should have this as object of inspiration everthing i want to look for ideas. Can believe this car also drift. Go check out some people did it in YouTube!
Hopefully early month of March i'll put up some daily report about MINI-Z modification and how it was moded step by step to achive max speed output and show some public what this little speedster can do.
