More bumps, bruises, crashes and scratches

Someday i'm lucky some day am not, but sometimes its best to crash once a while on two wheels and last few days ago i have my faceplant after drop down the steep edge of the trails. Wasn't that bad since i get used to it all the time but when i got up it made me wanted to go over the edge again since it was like "what? that's it?" For me every crashes is a step by step path to enlighten my karma, an added ingredients to my adrenaline junkie. Feels like a real man when you had one or more. Life is a bummer when you're like "no pain no gain" thing. So...Adrenaline kicking, ride fast, jumps, crashes, gets up, a smile in the face, thumbs up and lets do it again. Is life an awesome adventure!

Pounds bye bye!

Check this out, i'm losing some weight right here. Was awesome to see i was able to shed a total of 9 Kilogram in less than three week through biking on both road bikes and mountain bikes. Shedding those load makes my body feel more light and agile and my pants seem to loose digits. My BMI (Body Mass Index) improves too. Now when i climbs some stairs i don't feel much load strains on my knees, feels so good! Looks like i have no excuse eating more good food as long i keep on pedaling daily. But on the other hand shedding those fat under the skin leave me bitter cold on normal office tempreature and during rainy days, can feel very drastic changes in tempreature drops. So cold i had to use a very thick winter jacket to keep me warm. Another pros and cons losing some weight but for food yes!..

In and out of the bush

After a week been lazy bum on the sofa...and due to weather factor finally the bright Sunday morning give way for me to get my mood back on the bike and join the Sunday ride which all of us going to bash around nearby natural local trails just beside the baron hills. Startup with hard stretchy hill climbs, a zig zag around the trees, downhill steep and loose hill then away into the bushy dry trails going down the road. We made 4 loops and thats it. Cus i didn't bring my Camelbak full with water.

Volcano erruption!

Ah! this is bad...maybe its good too. After putting the medical ointment it started to spew out the dirty goo out from the wound from the swelling bumps from my leg. It actually burst after my pedal hit the swollen part of my leg when i try to manouver my bike downhill but i slip and hit the pedal instead. Well at least it speed up the process of removing those dirty blood out of the wound.

Mind boggling ride.

Last Sunday was a bit mind boggling, despite having going up and down and swirling around dusty and muddy path venture in a new trails, were very much low on fuel after running for hours. Unlike our previous ride this one comes to a dead stop where no ones knows where we are actually going. Were are on top of the work looking high into blue horizon searching for an exit. 1 hour before dark we continue crept through murky dead forest....no joy. At 6.45pm we manage to find our way out by climbing over dense bushy trails leading to the edge of the highest clif where we have to climb down to nearest logging trails which we have to danggling our self going down the steep ravine aided with the help of few riders hand to keep us hagging down slowly toward the ground. 10 minutes before Sunday handful of rider manage to move on to pass by 5 final hill climb before escaping the dark forest. At 7.00pm its totally dark. Since i forgot to bring by portable headlight i have to chase our leading rider Richard who's on his HID light as my only hope of light source. Dangerously we travel at staggering speed blindly on rough and unpredictable trails guided only by narrow spot of lights. 5 minutes before reaching the destination we arrive at local tarmac road which leads to our finishing point where we park our car. Sign of relieve we sped happily for home.

Adventure ride into MIRI rural country side.

Its muddy sunday today as i went along for an adventure ride into rural district of oil palm plantation area which consist of hilly hills, so we go up and down and visit some locals who live away from urban civilization. We start riding at 3.30pm and finished at 7.00pm. The road are pretty wet and muddy but its easy since its just some non-technical trails unlike the jungle where we previously hit the dust. Above are some picture taken on our last evening ride. "Picture worth more than words". I've enjoyed my self today as i've pushed my body to the max going up the some killer hill.

Sunny friday.

Was happy because today is a perfect day for outdoor biking after office hours, pull out my bike and roam endlessly around the city and up into highest peak to get a cool view up there. The sky looks fabulous! aromatic color and the windy cloud jet effect create stunning trails of clouds up in the sky backed with beautiful sunset beyond the horizon.
