A pile of stuck up

Every year more and more car come to clogg the busy urban streets. It just increase exponentially as more people could afford engnized transportation. However the efficiency of transporting people from home to work and vice versa isn't improve nowadays as more and more people drive than walk or cycling. As for comparison when i drive my car back home from work it took me almost 25 minutes to reach almost equally to the speed of riding my own bicycle from work which also took me exactly 25 minutes too. Stuck in the traffic inside my own car is just sparking my rage, temper and also waste of fuel and money. As compare to cycling it just give much enjoyment passing through traffic flow like water and laugh my way home plus i got my health and heart improve via simple excercise. Nowdays i view owning a car is just buying trouble rather than happiness. Get a car stuck in a jam and there goes hot boiling pot on your head. I drive car because of unpredictable weather and insufficient facilities to park my bike.

If i were a rich man i wouldn't buy a car, i'll just buy myself light weight bike, comfy gears and good food to fuel up my tummy for the ride. If anyone gives me a Ferrari i'll trade it immediately to save all the troubles on the road. Talk about road tax, insurance and fuel ouch! I wish the world oil wells drains rock bottom and people going electric bike.

Micro frenzy

Oh look at that few years later i'm back into micro again. I just have this feeling that 1/28 scale micro r/c have high cool factor and usability than my 1/18 and 1/10 scaler. The are small, detailed bodies, pocket size with all the slogan "anytime anywhere" all over it cramped with all the high tech micro technology that cost a bang inside a thumb sized cockpit. After years into 1/18 tp 1/8 scale its time to put all my large scale technology knowledge and zip everything into this tiny pint models. I'm looking forward to upgrade this micro to perfection with ass whooping programmable micro ESC, 2.4Ghz RX,micro brushless upgrades and high reponse servo just like its big brother.

The cat returns for last visit.

I'm not sure if i did mention this story before on this blog but i'll try to bring it up again. The image of orange cat came to my mind vividly this week as i recalled years ago when i live alone in a house in KUCHING city west of borneo continent.

7 years ago i was enjoying my hobby building 3d models (CYBORX) on my computer located in the dining room which from there i can see clear straight view through my living room with opening doors towards outside the corridor. I was busy focusing my attention on my computer screen when suddenly i have a warm feeling a guest was at the living room. I looked at the living room near the door and saw a healthy orange white tabby cat lay down comfortably in the middle, grooming itself licking paws and face. Its doesn't show much hostility at my presence especially in my house, looked felt comfortable as he see me from where i am. "It must be someone's house cat out of curiosity wondering into my house" as said in my thoughts. The orange and white tabby cat made a direct happy eye contact at me as if saying he is very much in happy state and comfort. i said "meow" and it just lay down like a happy cat. The i took my eyes of the cat and get back staring on my computer screen in just a few seconds and when i stare back its gone. I walk over hastily to the coridor to see if i can cought a glance where it could have walk out butthe cat was no where to be found. However i do feel warm and welcomed at the cat presence as if its trying to relay me a sign or something. At the sometime i have a familiar feeling i've met this cat before.

After long pause i realised i just encounter the same cat which i hit it the night i drove on my red car along the road as the orange cat try to cross the road in the middle of the night. It was a very bad timing and accidentally hit the cat seconds when it leap and ran across the road, i could feel the bumper hit it and roll over the wheels with bumps at the rear as i knew it was the skull. It was agonizing and terrifying incident, i couldn't stop and look back is the road crowded with trails of cars behind me. That night i was petrified that i just killed a cat and lost for words because i do have soft spot for cats, before i sleep i made prayers for the cat soul and ask for forgiveness in the dark was begging to GOD that the cat soul be sent to the Heaven and be happy in its his or her new happy home.

A now i'm happy after realised it came back to visit me telling me it was okay and its happy now in a far away place. I do recalled i have a bit tears in my eyes knowing the cats is now a happy cat in GOD's heaven. Not far away from the place where the cat was layed down comfortably in the living room is a Holy Cross hanging on the wall facing towards us giving us blessing for such beautiful reunion.

I come from a cat loving family i do understand very well about the aspect of cat behaviour. I love cats because the have very unique personality, life and socially humourous.

What's up at our design labs

Blogging is boring.....that what i had in mind since digital words on internet blogging doesnt seems to describe my happiness being out from home cycling under the sun, touring around places away from being tied to electronic material at home. To blog and twitter seems to throw minutes away from my precious life since i could enjoy that minutes and second discover cool thing outside. However i blog and tweets to record minutes of life diary of me. Who know is anything happen people still can track down moments before such happens. I guess this helps a lot. I've been away from blogging because i was addicted to finish up every design and creation that seems to pop-up constantly all over my head.... no time to blog. I just recently released VEXUVIUS last month and now almost wanted to release a new super car models into my website called CONXERTO. Stuff like this keeps me going everyday but not to be freak too much over the screen i do took my day off every evening cycling to balance between my health and mental needs.

For more info about my work visit at: http://www.supermotoxl.com

Today i blog just to let know i'm still alive among the living, lol.
If you don't see me posting every interval of 2 weeks then i must be in trouble, could be falling off the cliff with my bike. *Touch wood* lol.

Critical haze, totally polluted!

I was surprise when i wake up in the morning ready to drive off to work all the surrounding blanketted with thick haze so thick i can't even see my neighbour house across the road. Even when driving around 6.45am where sun already up the haze blocked the sunlight and made visibility only visible up to maximum 50m. With all my car windows up and air-conditioned turned on the smells of smoky haze sting my nose. The smells are so chocking. Back in the office the smells on my clothing still can be traced. There no surprise that my town people still practice no common-sense open burning during the scroching dry spell weather.

Fatal dusty paint on my car

1st February i realised my car body top surface was very rough like sand paper. At first i tought it was some sticky sand that come from the beach when i drive outdoors. It was rough and too permanently sticky to be called sand since it comes with tiny bits of colors as if its particle came from a spray can. After inspecting several several cars around my office carpark whom also under the same situation, i realised the dust paint came from neighbouring shipping company who was in the paint repair business. Everyone whom affected was furious, complaining and asking action to get the damages compensated from the near by shipping company who cause the damages. I was lucky my car isn't as serious as other who already in "sand paper" like paint surface on their car, but still the damage is clearly visible. However i'm still very angry for that shipping company next door being so "unethical" and beyond their " Occupational Safety and Health" scope when its comes to open spray work on their ship in the open when there are civilian around them in close proximity exposed to the hazard of painting process. I hope the compensate everyone for the damage they did on my and our staff cars. By evening when i get back home i quickly scrub as best as i can but cautiously to scrap of surplus of paint dust off my car, however i refuse to polish the painted surface as it will destroy the upper coating. I hope weeks and weeks of normal shampoo cleaning the paint will worn off naturally. At night i went shopping for car body cover immediately and start cover my entore car body as step of early prevention.

Car bump- You're saved by tainted peanut butter old man!

Here number 1 reason why i should cycle back to office rather than driving my car back and fro. Schooling season is open and so as the traffic during peak hours especially when it time to go home at 5pm. I was stuck in a jam on my way to my home up the hill. The situation was bumper to bumper traffic and people moving forward in jerky speed like they are having a broken clutch. I can't wait to get home because i have this stomach discomfort probably having tainted peanut butter sandwich that i much during lunch time. My mind runing empty and tired because my stomach was doing to much proble so i like awww... i should take a bath and lay on couch for a quick nap hen i get back home later. I drive slowly up the hill through a long queue and everyone came to a halt at the junction where it leads to the general hospital, but no one was behind me until not until i check my rear view mirror something fast approaching direct at high speed going up the hill. A quick glance saw this blurry minded old man behind luxury sedan was in a rushy mood in his face hit last minutes brake and then BUUUMMMPPPPPPP...eeedddd!!!! My sedan was shaken..WTF!!! Its like a huge lorry just bump on my rear. my mind was calculating the physic of impact and surely my rear should be goner by now. The old man in his age between 60-70 was dumb founded and he saw me glanced through my side mirror as i pull out my armand i show my middle finger gesture and force him to go to the shoulder of the road and start doing some MAN TALK. Surprisingly the crowded left lane went empty as they make way for my angry black shiny sedan. In this town anything that is black either a sedan or hatch back car is a sign of bad people behind the the wheel.. for my case i'm a moody bad driver. We got to the shoulder road and went to the back to check hows my rear ride. The shorty old driver with white hair all over at the back ground repeated saying "sorry! sorry!" like 20 time bowing like typical japanese etiquette. Looking at the bumper i was puzzle.....hhhmmmmm..... minor scratches.... amazing consider the fact the force f the bump should have totalled everything from the rear, After made few round glancing around my car it was so just small scratch just beside the exhaust pipe. Looking back at the old man and his luxury german car (his bumper was a bit off-set after the impact) i was almost wanted to scold him eye to eye. Since my stomach was controlling my mood i was like "ahh!! , You better watch out next time! more shit will happen! lucky you got me since i'm not in the mood!!"
I give him the "Japan bad ass Bancho san" stare in his eyes to warn him to be carefull when driving on the road. I left the spot and continue drive back on-road. I glance back on my rear mirror notice he was driving verly slowly hidden behind another car shadow, probably too shame to face me. I made back home and check my rear car again to see what was all about. Then i realised that his sedan just shove under carriage and hit the lower bumper rather that direct flat impact. Thankfully my rear suspension are higher lifting the car body high for better ground clearance plus the bumper also design higher like a ship hull. I walk away smiling and very proud that i didn't have to spent a dime to fix the small sratched on my bumper. A black Tamiya R/C paint will do the job.

XAVAGE GT: HATSUNE MIKU

Its been so long i haven't been doing some paint touch up doing theme type paint works on my newly design vehicle models. The last i remember was on CYBORX and thats it. Well why not on XAVAGE. Wasn't until Rafael made special request which i "think" and yes helped made a theme type XAVAGE based on PSP/SEGA idol sing character HATSUNE MIKU: PROJECT DIVA. I decided to use the GT version of XAVAGE with concept type kit which i previously built on second variant XAVAGE which took me 5 hours to built the kit on Z-modeler. Btw the theme set looks cool, honesty i felt i wanna keep it as private but anyways its good to share it with others since everyone is eagerly waiting for year to get XAVAGE on their hands.

Big block ventilation on XAVAGE design

It took me a week to think about consequences having the idea to recycle the cockpit design meshed for the use other of my upcoming car design then being inside XAVAGE. I've some plans building 3 more new design using the same cockpit design but with implication having different engine setup and placement mount. Because all of them having V12 size engine cramped behind driver seat and need extra cooling and better air circulation for the driver itself generated from outer vent to both inner driver space and engine so i decided to add extra ventilation system just behind the driver seat which act as rear coolant because the air intake is just near by beside the external door. Its a new idea for me thus need improvement.

Black color in virtual world

I real world i like black colored car, they look elegant and elite, they have mirrored shine. But i have to keep it clean all the time which is a minus and hardwork to keep it up. It a love and hate relationship: you love it because clean and shine but difficult to take care. But in virtual world especially in games its reversed. Black color looks dull and doesn't give contrast against any estatic looks in the car like black against chrome or any shiny material, and also doesn't reveal the car contour looks. Also in 3d design it doesn't give up much *bling factor could it be graphic rendering problem or lighting effect. Which is why you don't see much black colored vehicle design in my 3d models especially in games/simulation.

New seat design for XAVAGE

I was think the stock XAVAGE seat design was gloomy un-assimilated with external design. So i make an aerodynamic looks in Zmodeler. Looks diabolic and more sharpy looks. Still at infancy stage, will need to put extra mini roll bar above the head rest and some handles beside it. It should look well blend with its cockpit design.

10 years later: XAVAGE

The holy grail of supercar is here! "XAVAGE CD 24.0 XCR-XL 24th series in production number, 3rd generation in "X" series and one of its kind. Much previewed here is shadowy release for sneak peek. However some betas have been distributed to several legal channel for exclusive excess for privelleged fans. XAVAGE is an original evolution from NEMIXIS right through X3-SIXTY, fully matured in design with balanced in performance in looks. Details of XAVAGE specification and internal view and ortographic shots will be available during its release soon. XAVAGE expected to have more than 5 variant ranging from concept to real world spec including JGTC series. You might been wondering why it took almost more than 1 year to release such sneek peek to the public. You think its easy to design this doomsday car? yup. Its tooks me dozen of man hours to design every inch and angle of the car counting its aero factor and real world impact on it performance. 3d design sounds easy but won't be that easy if you apply its physic rules to the real world. Its not concept anymore its reality. Head over to my website at http://4x4evo.net/smxl or http://www.geocities.com/SupermotoXL for more info

Friends happy hour

Its great to hang around with your buddies after work. Today is special day for my biking buddies, another got his new bike setup and another just got his first car, a cool leisure wagon car and we are really happy to share his happiness with us. Like every old boys we hangout at the bike shop talk lots of stuff and having great times with left overs of cold beer in our hands, we knew stranded at home isn't fun at all so being out there is thrilling. Later we hit the local Restaurant for a free dinner treat courtesy of our friends as appreciation for getting a new car and best time to get around spending happy hours and lots to talk about on this lovely late friday evening. Thanks to William and Eugene i don't have to spent much for my dinner. Thanks bud.

Perfection mechanic

The best thing about going into r/c models is that it involve lots of tuning and understanding the dynamic or car handling and speed. It does apply to real world too. Since i'm also into 3d car design and mountain biking. These 3 activites however related to each other: wheels and speed!. The deeper i got into r/c hobby more i understand the law of speed and g-force effect. Tuning car gear ratio does help understand pedalling dynamic on my bike. Aero dynamic force and wind resistance on body shell and chassis characteristic helps to improve understanding in design cars in 3D models. Well well, my choice of hobby paid off. Weatlh of knowledge are more helpful in my life then doing nothing watching tv.
Everyday during my freetime i spent lots of research and test on these fine little piece of engineering. I never got bored. As long it supply usefull knowledges i will continue to do my part to cultivate this culture into society.
Today i spent ourdoor doing tuning and stuff, finally it went perfect thus gain more appreciation for what i do. Be proud its perfect because you're the mechanic.
