FPV #5 - WL V911 micro FPV heli project

Out of curiosity and desire to fly indoor through first person view i've gather some material and built my very own micro FPV machine.  5.8Ghz Nano VTX, 90 degree POV 520TVL nano 1g nano cam with built in mic and an FP micro 100 size heli that run on 1S lipo battery which fly much better than my old crap Align 100s.  Its 50x better.   Stock heli flown at 6 minutes 30 seconds but after putting FPV load its around 4 minutes max due to sensitive weight.  Since both heli and FPV hardware share the same 1 cell lipo battery its kinda a glitchy  but i get random good and bad videos unless i'm putting two battery configuration.  Overall it flew well with short duration but atleast was a successful implementation for my first micro attempt to fly around inside my house.  I think it would awesome platform if i could use this for fly around inside a haunted house without risking self encounter with paranormal stuff.  Fun stuff but i think i need to research more how to extend its runtime.

Project: 1/36 Toyota FJ micro crawler

I like micro scale crawlers but the one i bought last year ago was YOKOMO NANOQLO isn't scale but just a tuber crawler. So since i had long holiday i decided to convert it into a scaler crawler.  I went to local toy shop, bought a coil spring operated "pull n go" car that have a very scale looking body which it was a 1/36 scale TOYOTA FJ CUISER.  I was doing research on youtube that someone also made a similar mods on his YOKOMO NANOQLO crawler on the very same scale bodies.  I strip off all the unecessary stuff from the models leaving just bodies shell, base chassis and interior cockpit,  carve out a cavity where the axles suppose to be and build artificial lingkage support, bar and pivot for the suspension placement.  8 hours later it was done.   I'm not a proud owner of 1/36 scale micro r/c TOYOTA FJ Cruiser rock crawler.  I think its the smallest scale looking rock crawler models ever built and every to be when compare with existing crawler that sold on commercial R/C market. Got all the neat details just like a real TOYOTA have.  To charge i just have to open the door to access the charging port and some goes to the on-off switch too.  Sadly the runtime cut by half due to its heavy semi metal die-cast body which put strain on the 1 cell lipo battery, it could be improve by replacing more higher capacity battery soon.   Overall it was a great effort and hours well spent on this project.  Finally i don't get bored on my desk, got nifty crawler to roam around obstacles, pencils, books, phones, keyboards and etc where 4WD is possible.

Scaled models as role R&D object for SupermotoXL Designs.

News circulates says i already quit my Radio Control models and sold or gave away some freebies to r/c enthusiast since its way too much for me to handle my activity per-day. Part of the fact maybe be right and some part are wrong. I still playing r/c but for the sake of Research and Development under the name of SupermotoXL Designs in 3d models and virtual automotive design. Last week i sold all my off-road high speed truggys, buggies, electronics kit hardware, tools, radio kit and etc which tarnish almost 90% of my R/C resources to fund SupermotoXL Designs development. What's left is newly bought 1/24 scale RCTRAX MINIQLO Rock Crawler, which will soon to be role model in building more detailed scaled version of realistic vehicle model as inspiration point to design and build more off-roading vehicle inside computer 3D program under SupermotoXL Development at http://www.supermotoxl.com. For the past 2 weeks i manage to built more proper scaled 1/24 models using Hummer body to learn some mechanic of rock crawling movement and its attributes which could provide more vital information to develop more mature project VEXUVIUS model which i left halted last few weeks. Yesterday i added some ligthing kits...now it looks awesomely cool!
