Simulation new facelift.

Rainy days...its been more than 4 days and it became local headlines for having flash flood due to recent typhoon that hit Philiphines and around South China Sea region. The typhoon tails hit Borneo island so we get to taste itsy bitsy of those wet cloudy days. Being stuck in my own home and couldn't move my bike around i have to spend some quality times with my PC. I'm staying away from Z-modeler heavy work for a while due to tedious jobs but instead put my hands on easy stuff like modding 4x4 Evolution 2 programs on UI settings, POD files, INI's and remove redundant files which i discover that some component of XBOX files placed inside the game which is useless for PC. The screenshots above is new UI designs for those game interface...very much clean, more spacious, not cluttered and foward new looks...smaller new font too.
Other than that i've remove some redundant 3d files (SMF), TIF, RAW and some unused track object to shrink the file size down so it could fit on my handy drive and i could move around and play the 4 wheeling simulator on the go. Some other improvement are the UI for career and all new blank center highlight Garage room which suits today simulation style, just like in Grand Turismo game. I'm right now experimening some common shared parts used on the sims like axle, cbox and suspension which mostly on *.BIN 3d meshes with old texture format on RAW + ACT.

After Christmas and eventfull week.

My my! what a week. Anyways i just came back from Christmas holiday trip from my hometown in Limbang city. It was great christmas treat! not only i get Christmas gift but also trip to lots of relative and friends house for Christmas celebration all eat and drink till drunk. Cakes, pudding, sweets, roast meat, chicken BBQ, beers, wines, whiskeys and late night laughter. First eve and next two midnights i was pretty blur minded when most of my relative serve me with high calories food and strong expensive wine. For christmas i receive a SONY noise reduction earphone (cool!), Nokia NGAGE accessories, CD games and few goodies goodies. The weather at my hometown was luckily very bright and sunny most of the time but yet hot, have to turn on the AC whole day too cool me down. Back at my cousin house who take care of my grandma, i was there to visit my grandma. Greeted my grandma Christmas greetings and good luck kisses on her forehead to tell her i'm back and here for her. I hope she could make it up till next year but her health seem not promising as her age nearly reach human limitation, i wish for the best and may Lord guide her to the next phase of life when times comes. On the 2nd day my parent show me some land that they owned and point out some potential area that we could work out on...maybe some plantation project or anything profitable. Later on Tuesday 26th i return back home on flight.
Back at home i hugged my bike and computer! Really missed them soooo mucchhh! 3 hours later i'm on my gears and ride my bike to nearest off-road spot for trails riding..."addictive"!
Little i didn't know earth quake strucked Taiwan region crippled internet throughout ASIA Pacific region as the undersea data cable were damage during those event. Plus heavy rain down pour rocked my city the next day spoil my daily dates with my bike. What a day!.

Merry Christmas! Yay!

Merry Christmas everyone!
And early greetings from me, i'm going back to my hometown Limbang city for family gathering and celebration. Its a best time to see my olds folks and my grandma. Brought also some surprises for them too.

So I had already prepared some little present for my cousins who request some thing special and useful.
1. A USB handy drive with bootable PUPPY LINUX OS…(damn he really got such crap 128MB PC…gotta rescue him with this!)
2. Mini custom simple setup of SUSE linux station to host his mini personal website for his vegetables business. (2x unit, one for me and one for him.)
All this cost to prepare this great gift almost cost to none. Puppy and SUSE downloaded free and most hardware are recycled (almost junk). The only this that worth expensive is workmanship. Simple Christmas gift but yet damn usefull. Anyways I’m on the budget since I finish up thousands on home loan, cars and stuff to advance the bill after those last project I did. I haved book an airplane ticket to get back to my home town in two hours from now. I have to remind myself to buy some little goodies for the little ones and also to my old man.
In the fridge there’s kilos of chocolate cakes ready to be slice for Christmas to be brought over there, my mouth drools… just need to count till tomorrow and chomp it off.

Well to all modeler, 4x4evo fans and the gamming community who read this, sorry I can’t release my production on time this Christmas because I’ll be away for Christmas holidays for a while, it’ll be next months that is 2007. Family reunion is the biggest priority this season so I couldn’t neglected it. Hobby can come later. Anyways my old grandma getting sick and hardly wake up. So is a good timing for me to get back to her and touch for the last time. May this coming Christmas season bring luck, joy happiness and heavenly light shone one happy people and those who I care. Merry Christmas! ;)

Word from an old man.

I met this old man at night outside the building just below the publishing company, he was sitting down near the bench under the a big shady roof and staring up in the sky, rain drops started to drips on the pavement. Sitting relax with portable radio cassette running playing old 80’s Chinese music beside him. And sing and hum along, dressed only with khakis blouse and short pants in his 70’s. I was about to move out from the building as my night job on customer computers have been settled and planning to drag all my stuff back into my car just across the road. And settle to nearby coffee shop for a good night meal The rain started to rain heavily.
“Young man! Its wet out there just wait for a while” he nudge.
He was right, it couldn’t hurt to wait until the rain cease rather than going back at night in cold and wet my car cushion. So I stood there with a box of CD software and some PC tools.
“What do you have over there?, wants some bak-pau?” he said.
“No thanks, and this is some computer stuff to fix computer” I replied.
He stare silently, raise his eye brow and then lean back against the bench with a wide smile; “ Oh computer I see……..emm..computer guy!..uumm yeahh…mmm….”
The rain seems to be longer than I ever expected with loud thundering sound from the dark nigh clouds…I waited and waited fear I will miss my day with computer games by midnight.
“Wah! Computer everywhere, phone with computer, computer tv, computer business, computer hospital, kids play computer, pay tiket with computer and soo many… too many computer around..amazing! amazing!”……….then he halt, took a bite of meat bun and gulp, he continues with a blank stare into the front surroundings of busy streets under the rain: “ people so busy with computer, …haiiya..they make money.. ..no time.. no emjoy… family.. no time.. no time.., ……. You,.. computer make you happy? You live with computer?”
“No sir, not always” I spoke….actually its my 50-50 facts.
The old man smiled and replied; “Life is very short you know…” then he hum along with the oldies song from cassette player.
Puzzled with his words I just smiled to him. The rain almost calm down, I start to walk slowly along the corridor to nearby path where I could reach my car without getting wet. I passed in front of the old man and wave at him. Just a few steps..
“Never be slave to a machine, they are not everything….this thing bring sickness” he murmured.
I look back at him pondering and yet smiled with confusion. He seems to relaxed with those words, he looks calm and enjoy staring at the city lights late at night, look wise and ambiguous.
He turn his head to me and said “ Don’t be like my daughter…hmmmpp…peace is not in the machine”.
“Where is she now?” I asked.
He took a long breath and ease himself in a relax position, “Very very far away from here…very far away, but I have no regret”.
So I thought she must have been working overseas. “Oh!”, I turn around and continue walking.
“Hey! Do you feel stress at work?” he stare at me.
“Nope! Why should i” I replied.
“Good, I wish my daughter was like you but it was too late” he shook his head and continue took a last bite on the meat buns…”enjoy life…you know there lots of nice food you can enjoy.”
“Umm…”, I grin. So I left the place silently leaving the old man ponders by itself under the lights of city nights.

Back driving in the car looking at by standers with working suits outside the windows, I recall what the old man says and understand what he meant. Back few months ago I worked very hard and catch up with opportunities day and night. My nose bleed every morning, headache, sleepy and muscle pain. But now everything went ok, I felt much healthier and enjoy more outdoors every day. I know now. Learn to enjoy, avoid stress, ignore obstacles, ignore the rules that govern us into work slavery. Life is good when you enjoy every minutes of things you always wanted to feel, hear and touch. Thank god I was born to explore the world and able to mix around with weird people day and night, learning new things.

At the same night I pick up my sister who worked late at night at medic lab inside private medical center. Then saw a familiar face come out from the door in his late 20’s . “Did you diagnose this guy?” I wonder. “Oh, he came to monitor his blood pressure level, he needs stress management” my sister answered. To bad I knew that person…working under the same building where I worked for.

Hot!..wheeww!

uhh...it Tuesday early wee morning, can't get back to sleep...too hot. I think those after effect eating pounds of BBQ meat last Sunday beach biking party really put me on weight and made my body full of fat under the skin. I did turn the air-cond and fan to the max still felt hot and itch. I guess those grilled saucy food haven't worn off and still burning some calories as we speak. I must get back riding my bike this coming evening to burn those fat.

Beautiful sunday! Cycling and BBQ feast!

Sunday ride was great! Well blessed with beauuuuutifullll weather! The sky so blue clear, can see far horizon and mountains, and the climate was really hot and made us bath in our own sweat. As usual 3.30pm about more than 20 mountain biker went off into the woods, up and down the trails, swinging our bike through curves and tight windy path, ram through bushes and up into rocky hills. At 6.30pm we return back into our finishing point at our city Esplanade facing towards the sea. Tired, sweaty, sticky and our stomach was growling. Everyone load their bikes into their car and pull our sets of BBQ hardware, some heavy buckets full of raw chicken wings, drumsticks and meat, box of iced cold beer, junk foods and whole bunch of fruits. ITS BBQ PARTY! Yum! Yum! Its our monthly mountain biker gathering party! Everyone was busy BBQ and frying some food over the grilled, others busy on the drinks, bath on the sea, sightseeing, chatting, testing bikes and me I was seating down looking the beautiful orange violet horizon looking over sun setting down to welcome the nights. People running around the beach, playing around the sea water, jogged and romantic couple holding hands.
The sea wind pound my face and body, cool and breeze keeping me dry and refresh after long tired rides. The smell of BBQ meat really made my tummy growl. Everyone gather around as darkness be fall our surroundings, only our HID bicycle light brightens our gathering spot plus burning fire from charcoal grille. We talk and laugh about common interest, from bikes to public incident. We also talk about plans for rides during Christmas season. By 7.50pm all nice BBQ chickens, meat, hotdog, snacks and slices of fruits ready to be consume. Everyone have handful of hot chilli meat and cans of carbonated cold drinks and beer to cool us down, The night star was bright, the sky very clear and cloudless. I had a good laugh and full tank of dinner, hardly move my body….ummmphhhh!! All of us spent the BBQ party until almost 10.00pm. Then we packed and get back home back into our cars.
The smell for fried burned chicken and meat spew from my stomach and out of my mouth as we drove home. Wow! What a feast! I sure gain extra weight today.

CG quality high poly cockpit parts.

Alright time to put all 3d quality to the max….beat beyond Playstation 3d complexity and TEST DRIVE standard. Everyone knows that by year 2007 and forward 3d quality and complexity are getting more and more detailed and realistic thanks to high performance processing power of CPU and Graphic Processing Unit plus trick graphic engine that can render trillions of polygon per-second or even can achieve at mili’s.
Back behind the desk I was thinking way deep and outside the box, thinking if “SIXTY-7” worth released if the 3d complexity is between gaming and CG standard 3d. So I said “ Get over it, let burn the PC and overload the CPU processing power, let get make a REAL ride!”……..super high polygon to the max!… Since the future 2007 compose of high end gaming PC, I don’t think they’re be any problem running my car at super high poly. Aw c’mon, Intel and AMD going for QUAD CORE Cpu. Wouldn’t that run smooth?

So……here’s some super high polygon 3d parts I made for SIXTY-7, each parts worth tones heavier than normal 3d. Like, my latest wheel polygon amount = SIXTY-7’s gear box shifter set. Yup! more than 5 thousands poly per parts…per parts!
For me high polygon is good news for me:

MORE POLYGON = LESS TEXTURE RESOLUTION
This is useful since 4x4EVO1/2 only can support 1x 512x512 texture per-overall 3d car/trucks.
Check the picture above. They look superbly wonderful looking even without texture. This is CG quality 3d!

CPU + GPU processing killer 3d models.

It was a boring day in the office, my area of work seem to be unchallenging… All I do is do the repeated task and trouble shooting on computer hardware and administrative task over and over again. I hate repeated task it doesn't make my brain function well. When I look back at my Degree in Computer Science certificate I don’t think it worth to be in such crap position. I’m losing my C++, VB, PHP and MYSQL programming skill as days pass by. But good thing the current post provide a very loose work hours for me to work on other stuff. Too avoid being brain dead on my own desk I need to grease up my mind. Since I got few minutes of free slot between work I manage to work out and pull out ideas for “SIXTY-7” new cockpit....now that what i called progress and mind building activity. After long thinking its been decided SITXY-7 should have higher polycount models exceed today PC game’s 3d models standard and jump into PS3 style high detailed cockpit models. 4x4 EVOLUTION game engine and DirectX-8 based render provide a better platform to support high amount of complex 3d model object in one group. So better take advantage over its feature and push the computer processing power to the limit. Few parts of models especially on the cockpit models been made, it a right hand drive steering models. Very high poly on the dashboard alone. It is estimated that “SIXTY-7” have massive polycount on the cockpit model alone equal to the overall amount of polycount of NEMIXIS complete car model. The engine itself, chassis, suspension system and other small detailed miscellaneous parts will take a heavy rendering power. This is estimated value of it polygon count for “SIXTY-7” periodly:

PROJECT: SIXTY-7
estimated total of polygon
from complete car models-
----------------------------
FACE: 369324
VERTICE : 362720
----------------------------

Remember this is the minimal value. Some 3d structure in SIXTY-7 models have not been completed and expect the value to increase soon. This is the most heaviest polycount 3d models ever built for racing game simulation periodly! Its a CPU + GPU cycle sucker!

Premium gold label wheel.

I've decided to put gold platted finishing on the new wheels "RAPID FIRE GSR-24 XL". As shown in the picture above is the beta version of final product for SIXTY-7's wheelset. The front and rear wheel will have different width and tire density ratio just like NEMIXIS have. It was a tough choice choosing proper color for new 2007 models, the color have been chosen because it fit the car looks and given characteristic of secretive and mysterious charisma of a car. Gothic and exotics. It reminds me of color theme from old PORSHE 911's BBS webbed wheels from FIA-GTR. Looks massively bulk and aggressive!

Project SIXTY-7: the wheelset GSR24-XL

This evening i run my Z-modeler program to edit few missing parts on project SIXTY-7 model's wheelset. I made few minor mistake for not putting enough details into the models. Just like the previous wheels the XETA GSE24-XL (on NEMIXIS) it has missing parts....the pump valve (shredder valve). How you gonna pump a tire without those? So for SIXTY-7 car's wheelset i added those on the rim perimeter just below the flange bow. Oh btw the picture shown above is the new wheelset design for "SIXTY-7" car. It is called RAPIDFIRE GSR24-XL super asphalt wheelset for hatch back car. The design almost similar to the latest models used by NEMIXIS except the rim flange on "Y" configuration spread much wider, bulkier touch on the wheels perimeter and flange bolt added and protrude againts others to provide much better weight and stress distributon..theoratically, I'm planning to show the complete finished version of GSR24-XL with texture maybe tomorrow or two days later. Choice of color probably gold anodize, titanium dark grey rims and some ball burnished silver coating. That would depend how well the color fits and match SIXTY-7 main chassis color.

Another ruined Sunday.

Sunday suppose to be happy day to me but no, just another bad luck..
1. Some dude at crowded public place didn't cover his sneeze, the wind then blew the germ from the front to behind where i was seated. Now i'm getting it. Damn! That guy bring crap sickness!
2. Rain! awwww!!! Suppose to be my bike riding day today. From morning till evening as we speak.

Drive the old and new.

Ahhh...tired at work...yet brainless and repetitive task in the office made me dull guy without future. Lame day especially on friday..reached home at 5.30pm, my brain wishper "C'mon turn on the computer, run 4x4 evolution and pick a ride". Before i took off for the night work i run my usual favorite game/simulator and pick up two of my old and new vehicle collection and start driving around on my joystick. Rode an old "DX 200T SRS 7" and latest "NEMIXIS CD 12.0 XL-XGT". Made few rounds of speed cruise, drift, drags and rubber burnout on the tarmac. The old model was easy going and easy to drift around corner with much higher differential slips while the new ones more like drag racer and hard to turn around the junction. Physically when i look at both of my creation i do feel that my models and skills on creating models do evolve and manage to catch up with high poly 3d trends...also as hardware performance like higher GPU clock rate more high polygon models can be made to be added into 4x4evo1/2 sims. Both models on the picture separated 3 years apart symbolised my youth and adult hood souls. As we count our fingers each days 2007 will be around the corner. I hope to built something that would shock the gaming, 3d modeler and designer community.

Out for morning trails riding. A day off

Its was a great day today, Wednesday morning greeted with bright sunshine, blue sky and fresh dry weather. Today suppose to be my working day for me but i took emergency day off today to work out on new trails and explore new location for next Sunday bike riding event. Also a good timing to go out since the weather is unpredictable and occasionally rains at random times. Only 4 people went out searching for trails. As shown from the picture above we went to into the dense jungle and penetrate further till it reach behind or nearby LAMBIR National Park. We reached at about 10.30am and cruise into a logging trails, then back into the single track path under the canopy trees. We passed SOON HUP area then climb over the highest hill overlook the horizon looking for possible path toward the National Park. At 11.30am the sun rise above us, pretty hot..wish i wore yellow FOX Racing jersey instead of dark blue because it doesn't reflect back the heat out of the body. Anyways the weather suddenly became much cooler by 12.00pm..then minor rain started to drizzle towards east. We quickly cycle as fast as we could towards our final destination that is going out through SONG Hills that was a junction above the hills before LAMBIR National park, but that was 3 hours ride away through bumpy rides, rocky obstacles, roots, valleys, bushes and dirt trails. We also met some local villagers who we were working about their plantation and seek help to locate possible path the leads to possible path towards the highest hill where the rear back National Park was located. They were very friendly. The wind getting much stronger as it blew through the dense forest. I can hear wind turbulence thrust against my ear which also plugged with earphone interfering as I listening to mp3 along the way. We climbed the highest hill point, the scene was beautiful and rewarding. It make me felt that living in urban community really all that sucks. Green habitate rocks! Then we did few up and down hill through loose rocky and muddy roads to the east-south bound for the SONG hills. By 1.30pm we reached civilized road and stop at nearby hut to take cover from the heavy rain. I took 30 minutes nap on wooden plank as we wait for the rain to calm down. Everything went well at 4.00pm and we head back home….my head began imagining of me holding iced cold can of Coca Cola gulping those fizzy cold beverages down my throat relieved my thirst. Yes we cycle damn fast for it. Home!

Few bytes per download?

Its getting suspicious about my internet access broadband speed for the pass few weeks, it getting slower and slower. Even took almost 4 hours to download 14MB files and same as other FTP websites. I wonder if the ISP provider lied about the internet speed as offered on their package for 1MB per sec offer. Sometimes i got the feeling that some net speed have been consumed by probability of filter server to monitor illegal internet activity locally and in asian region. But one thing for sure its kinda cut throat to know that my money burn off to lousy internet access services. Right now i felt like having runing a dial-up speed. Lame!

First step i need to update the my website interface with much lively feeling plus changable theme skins for user view pleasure. Mmm!! changeble website templates on the spot! sound rare aa! Hopefully it'll be done before christmas along with other creation. I don't know what i wish for christmas. But at my typical age i don't wish much for material gift, but hoping something special might appear in my life next year. Something that would make me forever happy. Crash wound of the week!

Well today is my unlucky day, but what done is done. First my gear shift broken when i climb over some hills which at the end i have to manually fix empty handed, the later i went through rocky trails with big rock to lunge over and jump...no problem. i've jumped over dozen of more than 100" inch rocks.. but the i tried to lunge over another bigger rock thinking i was able to clear the gap above the it, i jump...the rear wheel hit the edge of the rock..i slip fell and tumble side ways, my left body received a heavy pound especially the elbow and felt heavy scraps on my leg. The bike however tumble the opposite side though. Whew, the bikes ok but my leg took the total wreck. Hmmm.. got my crash wound of the week...woah, that would be my45th scars. big deal! I got tonnes of flesh wound much worse than this. This one penetrates deep in the flesh at very small point that spits all the blood and goo out. Well no problem...so i continue riding for another 3 hours and then head to the park for a refreshment and do some concrete rides with my buddies. Back at home the worse part i have to endure is taking a bath. To clean those dirt, bloods and open flesh wound i need to get the water in there..that is the most painfull part..I was like errgggg!!! uuuoooohh!!!! wwwwaarggghh!! Well at the same time i'm trying to ignore the wound is there and put my concentration away from feeling the wounds. With all those pain well i felt proud and happy, atleast i got another collection of permanent wound around my body which indicate as "A" for an effort of doing some thrilling ride. Btw you should see my knee flesh and bone scrapped off, that's is 100% gore! Too bad that was in the past when i was still in college. Even the nurse who mend me last time says WTF!! So i duct tape it rather that sew it. ho..ho.hoo.

Time for Splinter Cell!

I think i'll be staying awake tilll 1.30am infornt of my PC this week because i'm addicted to finish up mission in the game called SPLINTER CELL: CHAOS THEORY. I've been a big fan of Tom Clancy's military and spy games since they first come out with first SC. This game play experience make me feel been part of the covert mission, infiltration and spy stuff in the game uses tremendous skills and patients. Darkness and stealth is your ally. Man i love this game! Thermo goggles, IR, and other cool gadgets are vital equipment. The best part of the game is that the environment was like wooooooaaahh!! some what like real, alive, lively surroundings, shadows, lighting rendering, HDR and texture quality life like render.....well i depends on how powerfull your Graphic Processing Unit render all those 3d environment back to life. As for me GeForce 7600GS did a good job on this one which almost as competitive as my old Geforce 6800GT hardware. I like any games that involve hidding, taunt enemy by surprise and move around the mission perimeter stealthy. Second favorite game was THEIF III and DUES EX2 from EIDOS, At far back is METAL GEAR SOLID from Playstation based game from various version. I not the type of gamer who pop-up ni the middle of open space and say "come get some!", i'd rather stay in the dark like cats and jump at enemy by surprise, then knock them unconcious.

No dreams this month?

Usually i dream alot of stuff when i gone to sleep. But this month i don't recall any dream activity at night nor afternoon Saturday nap. I wonder if i did but i forgot to remember. My conclusion probably i'm too tired to have one due to my daily habit sleeping late till 12.30am midnight. Dream usually tells ones prophercy or message that tell good luck or what ever it means. Well maybe this month there's nothing to showcase my luck i suppose.

Saturday sunset

Khaki blue sky, cotton cream white clouds and golden orange sunlights. These are perfect combination of romantic sunset. I took several picture when i ride around the city. It made me realise how luck to be out there witness how time fly by from morning dawn to evening dusk. The wind blew gently, i can feel it tried to lift my cheek and tickle my neck. At the beach i pull over to nearby shady spot and look over the horizon far above the sea and enjoy moments of wonderful and beautiful scene of golden sea parkle and the sun drop behind it. Then i head to the highest hills to take picture of radio towers and some cloud formation again the dusky sky. The clouds scattered as the wind blew towards east. The grass wave along and bow as the winds pass by. I felt the power and cool wonderfull feeling as it swirl around my body. I lay on the ground with my eyes look into the sky, i pop-up a can of cold Coca-cola and gulp some....wheeewww!! sure taste good and wonderfull. Slowly i see a ground of cloud drifted as the wind carry them by. Just like humanity drifted away by fate. I don't really like fate to determine my future. I like to be on my own be out there freely, no body commands me. I'm out there as free as the wind.

Urban ride

I don't need to go ride far places today because its Saturday, usually today i just do some urban riding and do some tricks on concrete like stairs, park bench, local parks, beaches, buildings, housing/village trails and small trails behind reserved forest with jumps, stunts and crazy stuff a biker can imagine. Luckily it wasn't raining earlier, so won't encounter slippery places and crash into concrete obstacles. At the same time i took my time on easy cruise along the city and some interesting places nearby until sunset sets in. Its was great! I feel relax when i cycle and enjoy outdoors sights and sound of thing around me. The sky is khaki blue and dry. I got camera on my hand and took lots of photo of sky and scenes where i rode. Being on the bike is like freedom to go anywhere and being on top of the world, that's why i always bring my camera to take some interesting photo or event. There are times i felt like being a part time mobile journalist being able to travel freely and capture unexpected scene.

Broken hearted client, when man cheat woman.

I had an urgent call from a female requesting for data recovery services from hand held devices, upon meeting the client she pull out a handphone a Nokia symbian 60 series with 4 megabyte of internal memory and 128 MB SD card. She says “ Can you retrieve SMS messages that was deleted on the phone?” . So I said “I can try but my recovery services aint’t cheap”. I checked the phone menu and SMS setting, I was lucky to discovered that the phone SMS data was stored remotely on SD card rather than internal memory because it uses SMS file manager *.SIS software to redirect SMS data to bigger storage on SD card. I borrowed my friends OXYGEN PHONE MANAGER which uses forensic feature and some hex tools to salvage pieces of deleted SMS data and some files and recover it back to its original state by dumping on my portable computer. Certain partition/section on SD memory card stored visually deleted file but actually its not totally deleted completely because when the phone system delete it only remove the file physical existence flag and rename it as null value which indicate the file no longer used and marked as delete aka empty flag/tag. The recovery process takes only 1 hours. At the end of the task I manage to retrieve around 167 SMS messages plus pictures! I didn’t manage to read and took a glimpse on the CMOS camera based snapshots but I quickly handed over to the girl, I don’t want to know the stuff inside..i’d rather stay ethical and keep it confidential when confronting sensitive data. A few minutes she looked on the SMS text data and some picture on the portable computer screen suddenly she broke into tears. Oh well here’s go again…it must be relationship problem as I expected. She was pale, sober and tearfully dreaded…she murmured “How could he!......cheat me!” I just keep quite and pack my cables and computer and write down services receipt to the client but I’ll have to wait until she calm down. 5 minutes later she came back sane and normal. “You alright?, ok?”. She said “I’m fine, so how much will it be?”. So I charge her a hundred for the data recovery services, receive the payment and gave her the receipt and said “ A re sure you all right? , is this somebody special handphone? What you’re going to do now”. At calm voice while wiping her tears off she says “ I’m fine, don’t worry…things happens and I have to face it. My boyfriend cheated me, I’ll just have to go through normal life…Thanks for recovering those SMS text file”. After that I left the building and head back home. Looking back on my rear view mirror inside the car I see she got nice beautiful big car, a house and a good job. Luxury life eh? To bad her boy friend is a double faced devil. I notice from the phone I diagnose there was this logo from an Engineering company which sums up that his boyfriend was an engineered or some sort of…my assumption. This is not the first time I encounter client who have been cheated on their relationship. I can say I’ve met around 17 people requesting services to retrieve information and data from their love ones digital devices and computers under name of distrust. A good business for data retrieval for me but looks bad when you see their face turn into sour sad and broken hearted when they know their love ones turn back on them based on digital evidence. Sheeesssshhh!! …..nowadays its very hard to tell if girl and boy, men and women is either good or bad or either one have honest love or hearts for a person he or she really love. My conclusion is there no such thing as genuine love unless both truly one in heart, in the modern world male and female tends to be choosy, judge people from their appearance, status, rank and social advantages rather than individual quality right from their own hearts and souls. The trend of dumping boy friend and girlfriend is becoming normal trends and non taboos. The tendency for male to dump their girlfriend is 70% because they have much wider choice to choose living spouse and control of their live and their value increased as they aged. Female how ever have 25% tendency to dump their boyfriend and have little choices as they aged. I concluded that relationship based on physical judgment will never secure happiness and long lasting love. What really matters is the inner hearts and feelings. Thank god I’m just a lamp post witnessing how two relationship works day to day. For me it’s a good lesson to choose a girlfriend properly.

Late and sleepy

I get back home pretty late yesterday before 2am, was doing this handy night job cleaning some network viruses that spread between networked computers causes the local and network printer to print surplus sheet of paper with unwanted date printed on the paper header as if it runs and auto report sheet annoynamously. The virus cleaning work was manual and not much third party removal tools have been used. Just remove "_desktop.ini", "rundl132.exe", the load registry and some hooked files under WINDOWS. It took just two hours for the job. Good thing it was a small company with 9 computers and 2 printers under the roof. I'm pretty glad that such low tech people exist with null technical experinced to remove the viral infection, it creates extra job opportunity for those skilled part-timers looking for extra pocket money, If the computer around the world are immune and viral infection comes to null i think the company like NORTON, SYMANTEC, AVIRA and other including IT people will run out of business. Anyways back at home i have to go straight to bed, boy i really missed those JIKOGU SHOUJO episodes at 2.30am. Nevermind i'll use that pocket money to buy full episode on DVD. Yeah!

Ride and nice meal

I get back home from work as fast as i can to catch up with time, 5.00pm and zoom all the way back home because my riding buddies planning to cycle from one end of the city borders to the other end at staggering speed to measure up how far our body stamina can cope with such fast pedalling power and how long does it take to finish up 90KM loop. We're gauging our endurance in preparation for our next long trip to NIAH CAVES and BINTULU division which i haven't been riding there for the past 3 years ago. So we did sped all the way on the road and we also manage to draft behind some vehicle maintain 65KM/h and return back for another rounds. On our way home my buddy rear gear sprockets teeth accidentally loosen and the lockring was disengage render the bike useless to ride further and need special maintenance, we decided to call the day off after spent 4 hours on the trails. Before we head home we went over to the top of the hills where public park was located to get some heavy dinner at the nearby food premises since nobody cooking at home. Each of us had 2 plates of fried noodles with eggs, 3 bowls of iced beans and jelly specials and 4 can of coke. Thats was great! we ate like kings, we have to since we need to replace all those exhausted energy and carbos in our body and get quick recovery on our muscles. At 10pm we head back home. So i head back quickly, took bath and head out again to do some part time jobs at 11pm. Man i feel refresh! i felt heavier by pounds after having those mega size meal. lol.

Got rides! Need a special playground.

Monday evening is a special time to squirt all the ideas out of my heads for my next modelling project and a big boom for advertising and promo on the net. I borrowed some video clips of some MTB rides and scenes from the CD and watched for few hours, these are "KRANKED 5" from FOX RACING production and some jibbings clips which is cool to watch with all those crazy bike actions and stunts. That give me an ideas! I got all the rides in my design inventory, what i need now is a playground custom made!. All i need now is a track to show off some cool driving actions, stunts and some serious test drive and put it into videos which runs as longs as actual movie time rate. The WHIRL WIND project version 2 resurrected to full fill the ambition... hilly and jumpy track plus some cool dirt jumps to spice up some action and do some big air or cool 360 degree barrel spin. Others than making video clips/movie this new track serve other purposes like ground for test drive, background scene for presentation and vehicle screenhots, online multiplayer playground and reconstruction of future 4x4evo2 expansion. I took several components from stock track AUTUMN LEAVES pods to cut the development short like ground texture to ease the track designs. Expected to see a beautiful Cherry Blossom tree emerge on the track soon, it'll be a great place to take beautiful scene with car and truck pose behind it. That's cool! Some of my benefactor aka investor looking foward for this one. I hope they like it when it comes out.

Slick upgrades! super smooth sunday rides

On the first day installation of new expensive wheelset for bike and custom disc rotors i took it out for a ride for test torture both road and on roads. Now its been 4 days. The wheels have been perform superbly beyond expectation, cross country, freeride and downhills jumps. Bike now handles more quicker and accelerate much faster, I can now sprint faster at shorter interval below 5 seconds. For short its superbly great, very lightweight, superfast!, super strong! super stiff and feels like there a blankets of cloud underneath the wheels but when it comes to disc rotor that suppose to match the products when pedaling drops to low speed below 20km the rear disc resonates at very high pitch vibration....very hummy. I didn't know i'm going to be one of those hundred of unlucky people to ride with loud humming sound from the rear disc brake. The review about this products only affect particular setup and happens rarely. A set of WH-965 XTR high tech wheel set mix with lightweight XTR disc rotor prove to be a dreaded combination and scare my riding buddies away. Today i suppose to enjoy playing games on my PC but this bike problem steal my time slot. I'm trying to detect what causes my rear disc make a humming sound and low speed which vibrate and resonate through the entire ride. The rear disc caliper didn't even touch the rotor at free braking mode and there few mm gaps of clearance which is normal. I also lower the wheel tire pressure to check if the vibration from the tyre grooves did any transfer back to the center hubs and dissipate to the disc rotor which causes the rotor to make humming sound. However slight tweak the rear XT disc caliper by spacing the pad accurately center proportion to rotor location by adding extra shims seems to reduce its humming occurance by 40%. I googled for solution..all i get is down grade the disc brake rotor to DEORE XT and problem solve..well hell no i'm not going to down grade and put few grams heavier on my wheels. I'll be working around the clock before to fix things up. Overall 10 thumbs up for the XTR wheelsets and 2 thumbs down for the disc rotor hums. Oh btw 10 thumbs up for the new chainring too. The FSA 44T CNC machined lightweight alloy mix on old DEORE XT crankset did perform well on high speed pedalling shifting. I might wanna get extra ring for the mid and small chain ring too. It feels great! Sunday ride was super smooths!

Alive! New Geforce 7600 GS fire up 3d!

Hoohaaa! Finally i manage to get months of frustration off my chest. Behold Nvidia Geforce 7600 GS AGP graphic cards...what a life saver for my 3d works especially it bring my life back to 4x4evo1/2. On the first day i run my 4x4evo2 game at graphic setup similar to previous Geforce 6800 GT setting, it won't be the same as before but i have to live with it. 7600 GS lags by 10-12Fps at high graphics setting compared to old broken 6800 GT. I have to lower down half for AA and FSAA settings to reach at optimal frame rate persecond score to match the old settings, i can saw thats the drawbacks i have. The old 6900 GT have 256-bit memory interface while 7600 GS having half of it 128-bit only. The good news is that the rendering quality and graphics presentation remains the same like it used to be few months back. When runing the NEMIXIS models on the track it looks exactly the same rendering quality as an old 6800 GT does. The manufacturer of the board GALAXYTECH (http://www.galaxytech.com) made the GPU board looks simple especially the open style heat sink which eliminates dust cluttered around the heatsink fins unlike 6800GT which badly enclosed with big colorful cover trapping the dirt, cloggs and build up heats due to heat dissipating blockage. The core GPU tempreature runs at normal operation is at 45-49 degree celcius which put me in alert and caution mode fear the same problem might happen which possibly fried my old cards. I notice there an extra small heatsink near the AGP goldenfinger slot which used to cool down the chipset that used to convert PCIe signal to AGP which is a rare finding...all 7 series card used to be PCIe standard. AGP are optional for minority old AGP mobo owners.

Time to go home: back to MIRI city

Wednesday, final day in KUCHING city. This time i woke up much late at 12.00pm just to waste my time and let the time flew by while waiting the clock trike 6.00pm where i can get ready to depart to the airport. Between that time i spent hours socializing with my cousins family especially one of their member a baby who was in doubt staring at me and try to grab a big hug ever since i move in for a few night day. His name is Dylan, a hyperactive baby who love "Peekaaboo". At 4.30pm i packed my things, bid farewell and drive into my friends car towards the Airport. But before we reach there we diverted to a food court where they seel out favourite drinks called "MATERHORNS"...sound like one. Its like all those jelly drinks with beans , lemon slice, iced flakes and a little sweet greenish wine like liquid......mmmmmm..mmmmmmmmmm!! taste like heaven. Can't say how but the drinks and taste texture is almost like having a drink of cold herbal chinese bird nest with cocktail like taste and pleasure. I took 2 bowls in just 10 minutes of gulping all the way down the stomach. At the airport i came 2 hours early before 8.50pm departure, the check-in counter heavily queue. I got a bag and a big box contain some essential (bike + pc stuff) which going to be cargo in, these box are my precious and i'll never let my eyes out from my sight until its is safely on board the plane. I've checkin in early and browse around the departure hall and took some aeroplane picture and stuff. 30 minutes before actual departure we onboard the planes by 8.50pm home we go. All i had in my mind was quickly get home unwrapped the box, slot in the graphic cards and get the wheels slot in on my bike too. At home i slept late at 3.30pm drooling on my PC.

Holidays: GEFORCE 7600GS in my hand!

Its Tuesday, i woke up pretty late. Its 10.30am. Today my friend going to pick me up from my cousins house to go out for lunch at the shopping complex. For lunch i had a nice Claypot Beef rice and two Mocha chocolate drinks and some fried chickens. At 12.00pm i went over the SARAWAK PLAZA looking for hydration packs, some souvernirs, gifts and shop for some outdoors equipments. 60 minutes later we drove to another place called SABERKAS building where lots of computer shops with updates goodies available under the same roof. This is it! It time to find a replacement for my dead NVIDIA GEFORCE 6800GT AGP graphic cards! My goal was looking for NVIDIA GEFORCE 7600GS AGP graphics cards at reasonable price. We went over to PC IMAGE to meet my old friends who used to supply me computer equipment and stuff back in the old days. The expected products was not on the shelf but luckily they put me on the high priority list and get me a stock of GEFORCE 7600GS in just 30 minutes. ...hee..hee..hee. Some customer around me was puzzled that i could get hands on stuff that wasn't even there yet very quickly. Yes! After received the products on hands and double checked if it was AGP slots models, yes!, i was very excited and relieved! The search is over! I paid RM$480 and away i go tightly held the AGP box like i really dearly missed it for thousand of years....can't wait to get back home and fire up my PC! 4x4evo1/2 rock on! At 4.00pm it time to send my old aging minicar to the transport services to be send over to another town for sale, , At night my friend bring me to a memorable place where we was once young and energetic cyclist usually always pitstop at a nearby cafe stall for a nice cool drinks and enjoy local BBQ chicken which mixed with special local spices, deep fried and crispy chicken in and out, One plate of full chicken meal for a person to munch. So i ate like a horse. That was damn delicious, spicy and finger lickin good! Then for a second round we head back to the other side of the city for an INDIAN food. I had 5 plates of ROTI CANAI and CHAPATI with eggs, beef muttons soup and two ice chocolate. At 12.00 midnight i'm full...zzz...zzz...zzz

Holidays: Monday bike stuff shopping.

I woke up early wee morning to attend my old house for minor cleaning, By 9.30am i walk outside the house towards the car porch looking over my very very very old red mini car which done a lots of honourable transportation services when i was in college and work in Kuching city, tricky and slicky car but two days later thos car will be sent over to be sold to customer. But today i'm going to drive in it and on my way to pay some house tax, bills, electirc, waters and some legal stuff. At 12.00pm everthing are done and i'm head toward my best old friend bike shop to grab and shop around for some spare parts for my bike. His bike shop called WG CYCLE (http://www.wgcycle.com) , this is the place where most of my bike are custom built tailor to my taste and needs. With heavy backups of budgets i manage to grabs dozen of parts and accessories but the major highlights are these parts called SHIMANO XTR WH-965 superlightwieght mountain bike racing wheelsets which i booked 3 months earlier to replace my aging MAVIC X317 on SHIMANO XT hubs, This one really burns my pockets, could have bought a new super gaming computer with these but worth buying since i rode much often and at extreme level. Good thing i didn't have any girlfriend else the budget would go to feed feminine needs. Lol. Before i left the shop i manage to walk around and see memorable picture of me along with my team mates back in the old days both adventure and major racing event. I can say today event especially from noon to midnight its all about bikes, the whole day i shop, meet my old mountain biking buddies, gathering, chatting, and treat some good old veteren rider on midnight dinner at local traditional cuisine restaurant. By 1.30am i head back home and sleep heavily waiting for Tuesday morning to get ready for computer shopping.

Holidays: Trip to Kuching..day1

Here i am at 8.50am line up at the airlines check-in counter with AirAsia services. Quite packed with peoples. If you enlarge this picture above left side you'll see some counter skipped skeptical numbers just to avoid bad luck. Counter 11,12,14,15. Where's 13? On board Boeing high above sea level i was very lucky to view a very nice columbus cloud formation and took very nice picture of it. Awe with shiny white and calm blue background...looks heavenly. Took another 1 hours to reach from MIRI to KUCHING city. Upon reaching KUCHING city at 11.50am i was greeted by my old friend a mountain biker and to me back to my old house. Now here where my mission begins....house cleaning. Sucks! Well that's the reason i'm here..to clean up the house and rent it to customers and settle some bills, house tax and stuff. Oh yeah that includes a visit to my friends bike shop and grabs some computer parts tomorrow. Hmmm......clean..clean...cut grass, dirt and stuff yuk! But luckily i manage to finish it off by 6.00pm and head back to my cousins house for a good bath and catch a ride with my friends for dinner near the water front just across the river bank. Nice local cuisine and romantic view on the riverside.
