Beautiful birds view in HD

I just got my lightweight HD 808 #16 keychain and place it under my slow HK TRISTANIA @ TECHONE SPIRIT EPP foam plane. Flew FPV above our local area and too beautiful view of the surroundings.  The birds eye view on HD  looks beautiful.  Flying on FPV with HD recording make me appreciate more about the scenic beauty and surrounding where we live.    Life is now always need to be confined on ground level.  Its nice to be like a bird once.

My FPV Foamy Adventure - HK Tristania EPP

FPV bush flight

Here is another advantage flying a slow lightweight EPP foam plane.  Its so slow and so light my HK TRISTANIA @ TECHONE SPIRIT EPP foam plane with FPV system on board can easily navigate and fly narrowly above bushes, between trees, fields and places where r/c helicopter could have been.  Which is why this is one of  my favorite daily fun FPV plane.  Everyday i had a cool jungle adventure when i'm not on my mountain bike.  Still it needs skilled pilots to move around in such thight and low flying condition to avoid stall, crashes and any posibble low flying mishap.  Fourtunately i have tonnes of flight hours and got me some great flying skills, so no problem for this flying ace veteran. lol.  *Touch wood*

Slow FPV #3. FPV flying in safer way.

Been doing lots of thinking lately about the risk of flying a huge 1.2m over wing span over crowded places below especially when i'm on FPV (First Person View) flight mode which i know its not a good idea for adventure flight for long term.  The weight itself is a major concern since it can be alike brick falling from the sky above if it happens.  So i've made some research, studies and found a solution which can lead to safer and fun way to do some FPV adventure without huge risk of public damage property if my plane crashed or anything happen in the future.
The solution:  Its a flexy 3D EPP foam 800mm winged sub 290gram super light weight profile plane (HK TRISTANIA EPP 3D @ TECHONE SPIRIT) equipped with lightweight nano FPV hardware that reduce any public damage if crash and safe enough to fly around public places and its very slow.  Check out my photos.  Its flexy, soft, soo lightweight, thin, slow, economical, easy maintenance, looks friendly, funny and have enough performance to fly anywhere, unlimited heights and required less space to land or you can grab it in the air.  Crash test shown it doesn't even cause serious damage to public property, animal or any living thing including people around it.    I've did lots of maiden flight with this EPP profile plane, it fun, entertaining 3D plane both to the pilot and the public and capable to fly low and slips though narrow places and places where normal planes though to be impossible and easily grab my hands on it while in the air.  Since i'm an adventurous mountain biker i took advantage to fly FPV with this and manage to discover new forest trails, terrains and discover cool places before i decided to jump on my mountain bike.  This is forever my favorite FPV plane.  Awesome and i'm glad to make this hobby a safer and adventurous activity.  More video coming soon on this EPP FPV flight.

I"m still designing

You guys don't have to worry about my progress at http://www.supermotoxl.com/ because i still do continue working out new design and making 3D models for the gaming/simulator community. I seldom post much about the progress because i took my time spending more quality days with my daily life that is because i already reaching my 30's. So life and family comes firstn into the scene, hobbies second. I keep tweeting at Twitter just to let people what i'm doing around and my brain always keep running 24 hours thinking whats new for SupermotoXL Designs next ultimate project.

Keep growing every week.

My flying collection seem to grow more each week.  Got a good bargain on Hobby King YAK 54 this week from a my friend with 36.6” wingspan and a good 3D performer. With TURNIGY AERODRIVE brushless motor, TURNIGY DLUX 40A Esc and TURNIGY 2200mah 3S 40-50C lipo battery it can fly hands free straight line, good custom CG and sharp handling after countless of Expo and End point setting on my controller.  The model looks good too and a great companion to my gentle Pits Special bi-wing plane when placed side by side on the place holder in the room. I wouldn’t recommend this as beginner’s planes because it needs an agile pilot thumbs to tame this plane but so far after hundred hours of flight time under my belt its good plane and I can do much basic stunts and tricks thanks to training on my EPP profile 3D plane TRISTANIA. Its full of fun and something new than just glide high.  The thrills does put me in the same situation when once I was on flying a heli in 3D mode except this time my heart beat doesn’t go that high in state of panic, lol.

Scale flight, 3d aerobatics and fpv for 2012

So we've reach 2012, a positive year for me to go all out for adventure into the sky. Last year was all about soaring high getting a good birds eye view over the land and put it on videos...it was awesome!!. This year i'm trying out first step into scale flying, some 3D aerobatics and lastly the highest R/C stage karma of all is the FPV (First Person View) flight. I've just got myself a "Pits Special" bi-wing plane and a "Precision Aerobarics Electric Shock" for aerobatic flight to test my sharp flying skills. Also forgot to mention that late last year also a month before end of 2011 got myself a scaler "SKY ARROW" pusher plane. Those amount of plane really pile up my room but i just love it.

VEXUVIUS released!

After months of hard work finally i've completed the VEXUVIUS project and made it available for public for free. I've put hundreds of hours on the model creation and the output results are very satisfying and enjoyed the compiled products runing on 4x4 EVO2 simulator as it roam around the heavy off-roading trails. There are 3 variant for everyone to enjoy:

-VEXUVIUS CD 28.0 XL-UR
-VEXUVIUS CD 28.1 XL-TR
-VEXUVIUS CD 28.2 XL-TRC

Download it at: http://www.supermotoxl.com

Each models in 4x4 EVO2 format handles differently as they have different performance feature in the simulator. Overall the "UR" variant have more controllable handling and fun. Other are extremely powerfull built for hard core driving. All the models comes in both playable 4x4 EVO2 format and SDK development package and also comes with customizable template skins for those who love to do some painting in CPT format. If you're interested to try out these models that i just created you can head to my main website at http://www.supermotoxl to grabs all these hot 4x4 models. Enjoy.

VEXUVIUS: TOYOTA CALDINA styled hatch lback?

Oh yes, VEXUVIUS development is back on track again from a long break. Guess what....i made some major changes to the rear roof of the model meshes since i had bad feeling about the original design. Plus possibility of having two door type SUV than 4 door as planned earlier. Visit my website at http://www.supermotoxl.com under Development page for more info.

ATI graphics major problemo. Nvidia is vice versa but still a problemo..

I didn't say the ATI hardware suks but the the graphics are very not so realistic in rendering. Color too strong and still jaggy despite having to turn it to the max. However Nvidia is vice versa, its graphics are very much realistic in rendering and color but the hardware are very fragile to heat and overloaded GPU/RAM. Throughout my entire life i have my first respect to ATI graphics in the late 90's when DX7 was very much hardware utilized for soft render without TNL. Then came NVIDIA TNT with TnL with more life like graphics. Until present day i've burned 6 pieces of NVIDIA graphic cards just because of rendering my 3d works, i did not even Over Clock for gaming yet...actually i hardly play any games. However no hardware failure problem for ATI just the poor graphics i have to live with it. My last project rendered with Nvidia was "EXAGE" models, everything before it also have smooth render and in game looks..perfect Anti-aliasing. "XAVAGE" project was on ATI hardware....yes you can see all the rendering and screenshots isn't on par with Nvidia render as you can compare from several screen shot from my projects. ouch!
However I would thank to ATI today because the still making AGP slot support for older pc which is now i'm survive because of it. If i'm loaded with huge budget i'll get back to Nvidia

VEXUVIUS project at 30%

I'm now at 30% progress in VEXUVIUS development which you can view the report at http://www.supermotoxl.com. Much obstacles i have to encounter is to balanced the design; not to go over the design theme but stay within the off-road/rock crawling specification. The difficulty stemed from applying XAVAGE signature panel for front and rear into VEXUXIUS as was to indicate branding signature and genetic resemblance in design. The front and rear "X" structure are not easy to blend in into 4x4 truck design which originally opt for more rigid looks. Face, deface, verticing, weld, unite, detached work are much involved in this process. Having no blueprint design i have to trust my hand and mouse moving coordination to randomly weave any lines that may trigger ideas next step in design. This is called "EMOTION MOLDING DESIGN".

Yay!, MB4 truggy returns

My addiction to complexity of micro models are endless. Its not onlyfun to play with but its really interesting to see the structure and engineering they put in those little things. Today i manage to get another set of Anderson MB4 truggy 1/18 kit from my friend at cheaper price. Then i do some cleanup (the guys got it dirty..pitty the model) and do some proper fix. Added also new parts, painted the shell and get some custom high end electronics module and computer tune the engine. Taaaaa daaa... magnificent peice of engineering now run wild off-roading. Every corner of this models give rise to new inspiration for my 3d models creation. Below are the specification added for this truggy:

Specification:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Castle Creation: MAMBA 25 brushless Electronic Speed Controller
-TURNIGY 2700KV brushless 370 size motor
-SANWA 2.4Ghz receiver module
