Battery worry

At desperate moments when you need to recharge your "world most dangerous battery" and the end i have to use power source from the car to recharge my R/C Litihium Polymer battery risking explosion near my stuff especiall my car. But to keep the fun going for our radio control activity well i guess worth taking the risk. So i remotely hooked the charger on safe car mat below the engine hood while the dangerous battery is down few centimeters away from my car bumper on top of the ceramic teapot.

Yes, got me hobby grade 6ch Heli

I'm very happy last week after received a good bargain on R/C stuff. What'a more if someone offer a 2nd hand heli for 1/3 of its original price. So i received an overseas parcel, got me an "E-SKY BELT CP" helicopter complete with 6 channel system, brushless motor and esc combo set, inverted 3d flying feature, LIPO battery packs, 2x charger and balancer plus other high end professional hobby level feature. Thanks to the internet i've found a man trash which is a treasure for me. Like once said "A man trash is another man treasure"

World Most Dangerous Battery

I manage to grab some r/c parts upgrade sure to rise some hair rising speed and performance to the max. Got me two most crucial and missing link in my NRX-18 1:18 touring r/c car.
-YEAH RACING Lithium Polymer 1700mah 7.2 with discharge rate 25C to 40C burst battery
-CASTLE LINK CM2068 6800KV brushless motor.
First day of testing already causes major damages to the tyre, drive shaft, differential gear and body shell. So what? Mission accomplished! 89KMH! fuuu yeahh!!!! Its a competition performance car. I'm so damn happy about it.
My concern now is about the Lithium Polymer battery. Need to be take care with extreme caution. They are dangerous than nitro fuel, explosive if overcharge and discharge and very fragile. That thing is equivalent to hand grenade. lol. I hope it doesn't put my pocket burner r/c car in flames.

Saturday night drift again

At noon was well prepared with all my r/c models, well tuned KYOSHO MINI-Z and NRX-18 already upgraded with new 370 racing motor with custom 7.2V 2700mah enough torque power to drift along the circuit. At local hobby shop people swarming around to get parts and stuff for tonight event. By night at 10.45pm everyone at the drift circuit. I also met our local forumer who also seem to be in the same interest on 1/18 scale r/c tag along for the run. My first run was sprint duel again another brushless NRX-18 player but i'm using my 1/28 Kyosho Mini-z againts him. Was fast and extreme drag duelling especially i'm up again larger size brushless. After 1 hour 30min run time he won't by 1 second difference ahead of me. After drain sets of 4.8V 1000mah battery on my mini-z i pulled out my NRX-18 1/18 to join the other drifter on the track. With new 370 motor the car was powerfull enough to pull a huge side slide drifting partially around the circuit but dampens by soft compund tyre and short lived 15min battery. So i pulled another custom 7.2V 2700mah battery power and slot into my 1/18. I pulled the trigger 100% throttle thecar stutter and halt, ESC beakons an emergency overheat sound. I tried several attempts but still the ESC beacons emergency sound which inform me that big troubles is coming to wreck my day. Unable to troubleshoot the problem at night so i decided to halt for the day and went home with other at 12.38am at midnight. At home i made several test and found out i've fried a speed controller chip which suppose to handle more current. After long toughts i decided to get new ESC parts and motor to cope with the demanding problem.
