FPV #5 - WL V911 micro FPV heli project
Out of curiosity and desire to fly indoor through first person view i've gather some material and built my very own micro FPV machine. 5.8Ghz Nano VTX, 90 degree POV 520TVL nano 1g nano cam with built in mic and an FP micro 100 size heli that run on 1S lipo battery which fly much better than my old crap Align 100s. Its 50x better. Stock heli flown at 6 minutes 30 seconds but after putting FPV load its around 4 minutes max due to sensitive weight. Since both heli and FPV hardware share the same 1 cell lipo battery its kinda a glitchy but i get random good and bad videos unless i'm putting two battery configuration. Overall it flew well with short duration but atleast was a successful implementation for my first micro attempt to fly around inside my house. I think it would awesome platform if i could use this for fly around inside a haunted house without risking self encounter with paranormal stuff. Fun stuff but i think i need to research more how to extend its runtime.

Yay! WL V911 micro helicopter
Oh finally!, china factory did a good job making a 100 size version clone of Align Trex 100. Its "WL V911 micro heli" gazzilion times more stable, durable, no brainer to fly, easy and so damn cheaper than my last Trex 100s. At laughable price i bought one for a test fly and it binded with my 2.4ghz TURNIGY 9X transmitter easily and my heli controls more precision and accurate, This heli is so fun to fly indoors and you can fly where your mind commands it to do and it hovers still with less dirfting effect. It made my old Trex 100s looks like a pile of crap and deserved to be in paper shredder. I've crashed it hard, did destruction derby with another same heli and crashed with each other, bam against the wall and it still back up and fly like a new heli. Not even a dent, not any serious scratches and nothing broke and it even comes with spare blades which we seldom even touch it. The plastics made from flexible material and the circuit baord are well protected with layers of epoxy like glue to keep them from tearing a part. I flew this heli almost everyday when i get bred inside my house just to keep up with my thumb skills if i'm not around with bigger 450 size heli, Thumbs up to WL V911 micro heli. Google for "WL V911" heli. Got lots of positive review and its only USD$27. Hahahahaha...*laughing at TREX 100S and 100x*

Slow FPV #3. FPV flying in safer way.
Been doing lots of thinking lately about the risk of flying a huge 1.2m over wing span over crowded places below especially when i'm on FPV (First Person View) flight mode which i know its not a good idea for adventure flight for long term. The weight itself is a major concern since it can be alike brick falling from the sky above if it happens. So i've made some research, studies and found a solution which can lead to safer and fun way to do some FPV adventure without huge risk of public damage property if my plane crashed or anything happen in the future.
The solution: Its a flexy 3D EPP foam 800mm winged sub 290gram super light weight profile plane (HK TRISTANIA EPP 3D @ TECHONE SPIRIT) equipped with lightweight nano FPV hardware that reduce any public damage if crash and safe enough to fly around public places and its very slow. Check out my photos. Its flexy, soft, soo lightweight, thin, slow, economical, easy maintenance, looks friendly, funny and have enough performance to fly anywhere, unlimited heights and required less space to land or you can grab it in the air. Crash test shown it doesn't even cause serious damage to public property, animal or any living thing including people around it. I've did lots of maiden flight with this EPP profile plane, it fun, entertaining 3D plane both to the pilot and the public and capable to fly low and slips though narrow places and places where normal planes though to be impossible and easily grab my hands on it while in the air. Since i'm an adventurous mountain biker i took advantage to fly FPV with this and manage to discover new forest trails, terrains and discover cool places before i decided to jump on my mountain bike. This is forever my favorite FPV plane. Awesome and i'm glad to make this hobby a safer and adventurous activity. More video coming soon on this EPP FPV flight.

Today indoor race gathering at TWC
5L, me, Eugene friend, Tan friend and other join in for indoor race at TWC Serpent shop. Was extremely fun and high speed. I got extremely hard competition against Tan friend who's on MB4 touring 1/18 car vs my 1/18 MB4 truggy. He's on 4Pk and also his car very stable than X-ray and Nanda because of his oil shocks suspension system and balanced design. X-ray and Nanda still have light years to catch up.... the gap are too big. 5L and his friend poison by our MB4 hahahahaha...he said he want to sell his nitro and get like our Anderson MB4. Looks like MB4 extremely stable and perfect handling. We might have another gathering soon. We played from 3pm till 7pm (lucky we brought few extra lipo). Never seen 5L so happy in my life. Smile so big after play at mini race circuit. Oh yeah love my MB4. hihihihi..

Day 7, oh yeah! no computer for next few weeks.
Ok so i broke my ultimate pricey work station computer (my source of partime income station), all i have is my sister's computer to access the internet.... But thank god i manage to complete all my 3d models and design published into the internet/ my websites before it went kaapooofff!!. It would take some $$$ to fix it but well i think it was fated to be that way or must be a hidden message sent by unknown Force that wanted to say " go out and discover the world!!". And so since last week i started to go out adventuring myself on my Mountain bike, into the urban jungle and real jungle, Radio control activity, phtoto shooting, play with my PSP and hanging out with my buddies for a good drinks and stuff. Yeah last weeks lots of worthy activity. It makes PC days looks evil now but i guess the so called "The Force" was saving me away from computer for holiday break. I hope it can help me to recover some loss so i can get back to my PC for another 3d design and model projetc when i really on it. Peace.

Oh yes! my spare parts have arrived.
Despite having gloomy day without having fun on my broken desktop PC but instead my happy cloud came back to me again in different genre. I've just ordered some MINI-Z parts few days ago and today it reach to my hand in a flash by parcel delivery service, Oh yes! my mini-z is alive again with new parts and upgrade. Previously my mini-z 1/28 scale R/C broken on critical parts which involve broken suspension tower on both side, cracked steering knuckle, broken rear suspension and cracked top electronic pcb cover and worn out 10T aluminum pinion gears. Now all these news parts mostly from carbon fibre and aluminum parts hopefully could make my mini-z more durable and last longer than expected. The most important thing is to keep hours of fun outdoor. You know being shelled indoors really boring. Well i'm going to fix my mini's. Yeaahhh!!
