Opps! Its Mooncake festival dinner today!

Was surpise that today was Mooncake festival and everyone was in the rushed to get back home to celebrate the occasion. My sister already made a plan ahead for taking the whole family and her fiance for dinner at hotel. Its been quite a while we haven't had dine outside our home at night. Lots of dummy growling dishes was served including 4 seasons cuisine, steam bass fished, sweet mixed veges, bbq duck, toated chicken dumplings, tasty chicken soup, rices, sweet seasoned cutted jelly fish and some dessert. Was a great dinner for this week especially with family. Being absent minded to know whats happening inside the calendar was my obvious personal traits. Sometimes i do forget my own birthday.

The Bisaya charity night,

Well i didn't expect it was today since Sunday i'm full of outdoor schedule, well i guess it won't hurt slot in extra time to spent on this special dinner nights for Bisaya people ion Miri at the luxury hotel, also attended by local VIPs. Genetically i inherit half race from my father and another from my mother. So this dinner night is on my mother side, Bisaya people is originally from LIMBANG district of Malaysia which makes minority but peacefull people. This event held annually but i missed some of their usual activity like sports, family activity, picnic, charity work and stuff, The nights felt soooo long was lots of stage stuff and food, Yes i come for food since i pay for it too. Lots of meat in the menu...yum! yum!. Crispy chicken, another chicken ... mix veges, yam cake and problem is that this hotel where we sit in no carbonate drinks.

From 6.30pm till 11.20pm...wow...i start to doze off asleep at 9.30pm. The food was great yeahhhh......uummm..i mean the gathering was good.
yeah. ** i never like social gathering unless its in my hobby list,...yeah take note.

Hotel style food???

As usually i went around our company cafeteria for my usual RM$2.50 meal for my lunchtime. Usually the cafe people will do the food digging onto the plate for you. So at the end after the payment i only get this amount. Doesn't looks the usual amount i used to receive. Looks a bit less. Looks like hotel food from the way they put on the food...like hotel deco's. Feel expensive looks but cheap and won't fill my stomach to the fullest. I guess its the effect having world fuel price going up and so aas the food goes too.

My buddy wedding dinner.

After i finish up some model work i left my house at 6.30pm to join the invitation to my mountain biking buddy of mine who have his wedding today. Congratulation Kevin!!! You're now break away from bachelor world. It was a traditional chinese wedding dinner held at the grand hotel restaurant. At first it was bad idea to have a wedding dinner with my tooth ache but after few munchies holy cow! the pain is gone!...maybe some beef or crusty chicken killed my nerve on my gum as i munch like a hog! I finally get to enjoy some delicious chinese cuisine. Most of those people who attends are close family, friends, mountain biker and house of hasher group (those crosscountry people on foot sports).
I did bring along my PSP equipped with go cam taking several high resolution picture and videos. Its was great tools. At some point my PSP become spotlight againts other people camera and cam phone...maybe they didn't expect a handheld game console turn out to be super Divicam on tyhe fly. I predict tomorrow PSP going to be sold off from local shop soon after today's head turner event, lol. Ok,wedding dinner was great! Check out the picture of the delicious wedding menu.
The crowds went wild, karaoke, drunk old man, the babes, the singles and some loud people doing carzy thing to spark the evening spotlight. The bride looks OK, but the babe who attend the dinner was ultra hot. I don't see much of my mountain biker group bring some hotties around. Anyway the dinner lasted till 10.30 pm. I had my belly full of hot boiled fat filled foot. Yeah i skipped the broccoli.lol
