Hot day...sleep..zz..zzzzz

Saturday is a very hot day, pretty ugly weather condition because the sky is hazy and thick. Hardly see any blue atmosphere or clouds. In the afternoon i took a long silent nap as i felt tired and to weak to do daily chores because last night i have to stay awake till 3.00am wee morning to accompany my sick grandmother in the hospital. She suffer weak heart again to near strok status, we sent her early to the hospital avoid any complication. After seeing her condition it really reminds me to appreciate life and enjoy it to the max while we still can and not to wait till we get old and regret another day. Well i hope i could achieve something big goal and fame before its too late. Life is so short.

Long..long time ago..a there was a car..

Among all the models that i built, this one caught my heart and truely have some spirit in speed and beauty. This is my concept supercar CORVETTE XVT-GT1 LE, low slung widebody track burner. Built in early 2003 along with other 3 XVT variant. It doesn't take long to built these models on Z-modeler because of it low 3d polygon properties as low as approx. 3k overall. I lost track how many mysterious models hidden from public hands i feel proud to keep it as a Limited Edition Collectors item. Shadows of XVT models having design traits for it long frontal chassis to accomodate inline 12 cyclinders will be resurrected with another new rival...yes you guess it, its 2006-07 "SIXTY-7". Coming your way soon.

Losing 9kg in two weeks. YEah!

Oh gosh, people at my work place started to notice that i'm losing weight....drastically. I weight myself at nearby weighting machine and was amazed. I lose 9 kilos in just two weeks. From 68kg to 59kg. Wow! Looks like my 6 hours intense mountain biking ride does paid of with superb result. Other than that i still can enjoy 3 plates of breakfast and dinner eat like king but still burn some calories like every month of brutal cycling but still maintain lightweight, slims and bulks leg muscles. haa.haa beat that! In your face gym freak! Mines comes natural. On the good side i still got my six pack muscular stomach and bulk shoulder just like 2 years ago when i was active on national cycling races....lots of medals!
On the bad side my pants getting much loose and i had to hold my hand on the belt to keep it uplift and my face are total flat. My friend in the office reminded me to look back myself in the mirror and eat more carbo foods and meat....hey wait!..3 plates ain't enuff?! Ok..ok ..i'll eat more. Btw...my father is much more muscular than me. Hmmmmm....hmmmmm...wooaaahhh.

Update site in progress.......typing..typing....typing...

Today, i have to play my role as responsible good citizen of gaming community, lol. Yes, i'm now typing some documents, pack up some game add-on resources to be uploaded into my site very soon. As requested by Starbuck and other fan i should gather few rare collection of my texture work that was previously published at the gallery as Limited Edition theme models using various cool paintjobs and make it available to the public. These are high resolution texture. My buddy Starbuck wanted to have those for his Track Mania conversion work. At the same time made several updates and fix on my webpage, looks like i got lots of faulty and missing links.

brrrrrrrr......zzzz....zzz....zz

Yesterday night cycling activity pose bad effect to me today. It looks like i didn't have enough sleep. Yesterday slept at 2.30am and wake at 5.30am, I can feel my eye lid felt like totaly dried and minty, hardly concentrate working on my 3d models on the screen, very blurry. So i decided to lay down on the bed, took out some drawing paper and pencil and draw something and along the way keep my body at resting position rather than at streaneous sitting posture behind the computer. Yeah, i made skectches for upcoming PEUGEOT models. Sometimes it really though to have to favourite dedicated hobby run on the same day when you know you just come back from the office and grab another breath for next favorite activity. Mountain Biking and 3D modelling....if only earth could have spins 48 hours a day but with longer night hours by 70%, ha ha... thats great!

The nights are young.

I spent few hours out into the city nights, driving around looking for inspiration and ideas for upcoming projects, i pick up some snacks and cold drinks too cool myself down after long hours of office work in the day. This week i suppose to upload some Limited Edition texture file for CYBORX and EXODUS models into my website for public download for Starbuck from Track Mania request. Maybe i should do it tomorrow.

Sunday crash day.

Today, i crashed, flung over the handlebar on my bike as i try to decent steep hills. I tumble 360 and landed hard on my back and then followed the bike coming bash over me from above but luckily it didn't hit my head, but instead i crushed my right pinky finger. My finger felt numb and swollen as if the bone crack internally. But no problem, i get to used to it seveal times. Several other mountain biker trying to do them same attempt and two of the ended like me. Lmao!
Anyway Sunday rides always a great ride, i max out my body endurance and can feel the muscle burst out its capacity....i had a good long sleep after long hours enjoyment riding in the forest.

My car design quote for today.

Car design simplicity quote of the day: "Lousy driver needs bumper only".
My note: putting bumper on my designs just wasting some space on the chassis. Throughtout my life i never seen a bumpers that protects your car from total wreck. Believe me this thing is just another phcycological gimmick on your car. "ohh i got bumper, i'm saved"...ditch that crap.

Squish out ideas for design contest..arrghhh!

Today i concentrate a lot on pulling out ideas on new models design PEUGEOT designs contest. It was tough considering the fact the the design has to meet specific criteria and theme requirement which reflect on the design itself. I pull out my 3d modeler program started making variable shape and sizes too see if any ideas spark behind these object outline. Now reached day 4 since i commence the design. I'm stuck! I'm stuck..no more ideas. Why stuck? ...because limitation like environmental friendly, simplicity, accessible, efficiency and stuff must be imbedded in those designs. However in history my line of design commonly based on muscle and exotics supercars that guzzle more energy and fuel comsumption and that is bad for the contest. Meanwhile i'm putting "SIXTY-7" project to slow mode but keep on going a little bit to make way for PEUGEOT concept's time slot.

Grandma back to normal.

Wheww, i'm glad grandma was ok. I went to the hospital and visit her in the ward where she was well treated hospital staff and stayed there for few days, When i spot her she was seating on the bed and having evening dinner in a normal condition just like back to her own self again. The doctor gave her several pills for daily health intake. Beside her bed is my auntie who accompany her throughout the nights to make sure someone by her side if anything happens. I held my grandma hands, it was hot but warm. I held my ID card and show to her to test and see if she can read, notice my photo on it, she can see it clearly and knew who she was looking at...thus this indicate her mind is well focus. She was happy to see me, i'm glad too. I chat and hang around for couple of hours, then before i left for home i gave her a big hug and gave promise that i'll visit her again after work. Thanks to god she is ok. When i stepped outside the the day blessed with clear blue sky, wonderfull ray of sunlights and breezy wind from south sea after numerous raining season since yesterday. Its time to ride my bike and enjoy the world around me!.

Wish my grandma get well soon.

Yesterday my grandma whom is my mom's mother was admitted to the hospital due to high blood pressure and heart problem. She got this symptom of dizziness and frequent vomit as her body weaken. The doctor recommended my grandma to stay in the hospital for few days under doctors monitoring and supervision. My mom and auntie took turn to take care of her at the ward room. She's almost reaching 100 years old. That night i stand beside her and held her hands. It was soft and weak. Looking at her face i can tell she will soon someday will join with my grandpa in a better place far above. But i was hoping that god would keep her stay long enough on earth to witness changes and progress in our family. God bless my grandma and i pray she'll recover soon and get back into the family to experience every wonderful moments with her big family.

Should i redesign my website?

Should i redesign my website? I was thinking of trying to simplified my website user interface to more simple and eye pleasant view. The current one looks crampy and pack with full information. There are 3 website and two of them serve as backup:

I'm planing to remove the footer in the future which take few pixel of vertical space sooner or later. Another alternatice is to make it changeable user interface by applying various themes. Well we'll see how it turns up, right now i have to think about PEUGEOT's design and pull out some new ideas to attract the judges. Think something new, think outside the border.

Another crunchy sunday breakfast.

Flour, a little butter, sugar, water, cooking oil, a wok and good cooking skills. Well no nuggets today. I'm cooking my old favorite falt fried pan cake...my fried cooking style. All ingredients mixed into the bowl, stir it until everthing fully mixed into white slurpy looks, heat up the wok, put an oil the pour some light slurpy ingredients into the deep frying oil in circular motion. Hear it sounds fizzy till the flour turn into golden bake color then flip it again. When its done put it on the plate and continue the next batch. I made around 9 pieces and some surplus goes for fried banana recipe. These simple breakfast enough to skip lunch and fuel me up for afternoon mountain biking rides. Yum! yum!

Can't wait for tomorrow rides, all fixed.

Upon maintenance and checking in notice my first big chain ring on the crank losing 1 out of 44 teeth for drive terrains, while the middle chain ring losing 2 out of 32. I'll need to get crank set replacement by next month. Anyways if i don't shift a lot i should run smooth for tomorrow rides. Me and my mountain biking group will return back to the same place on top of the hill behind the city like last Sunday for downhill course and trails riding. I hope tomorrow blessed with sunny blue sky on the afternoon just like today. Anyways i saved few hundred worth of replacement after fix some broken parts only by extra modification that would last estimated for a year worth riding. Yes!

List to do this afternoon.

Hmmm..preeety busy today. I should do some handy works with heavy tools and metals on my mountain bikes because it need heavy maintenance and parts replacement before tomorrow Sunday afternoon rides. I made some checklist for today timetable:
1. Replace and create new patch of disc brake padding on worn out SHIMANO XT Deore using YAMAHA metallic pads.
2. Tighten loose/shakey hydraulic lever.
3. Tune rear XTR derailure shifting
4. Path leaked 2.2in tubes
5. Clean inner housing cables and LX shifter pods
6. Adjust tension/ROCLOC on my helmets.
7. Adjust clip tension on my SPD
8. Clean the bike
9. Remove mud, dirt and gunk on chain rings, sprockets, cogsets and front shocks
10. Degrease and relube the drive terrains system
11. Tune cyclo computer wheel rpm and radius setting.
12. Restore broken, cuts and leaked tyre with BOSTIK adhesive.
13. Adjust the disc brake lever sensitivity and check for mineral oil brake reservoir
14. Clean my SPD shoes.
What a day to keep my bike and equipment healthy.

More sleep and PEUGEOT

Things going slow today, that's how i felt. My eyes felt dried, my body felt heavy every foot step i took and spinny concentation. I guess i didn't have enough sleep last night.
Yesterday after midnight i slept at 3.00am. I came back home from cycling training at 11.00pm, then took bath and wash my clothes, 12.30am took a heavy dinner, 1.00am finish my dinner and head to my computer working on my models and design contest for PEUGEOT, 2.00am take a break and watch tv, 3.00am feeling drowzy and tired, go to sleep. 5.30am, wakey wakey but in bad shape.....tired and lack of enough sleep. I should spend 3 hours sleep before dinner tonight so that i feel refresh back and enough energy to keep me awake so tha i could work on the PEUGEOT design contest.

New triple stacks rear lights set and exhaust tube.

Hmmm..."SIXTY-7" looking good on its rear design! 2x 3 rows of circulars lensed rear lights and 2x tripezium futuristic tubular exhaust pipe located same way as "NEMIXIS" exhaust pipe position. I just spent easy time doing stuff bits by bits every hours...nothing to rush about. The only thing i need to add on its rear is an extended rear skirting or very know as floor "Air Diffuser" just below the "X" beam to beef up chassis height appearance.

Late wakey wakey.

By the way this morning i suppose to wake up early by 4.30 am to prepare cooking some pan cakes and fried crusty bread so i can bring those food to my work place as my breakfast and lunch. But unfortunately i woke up at 5.20 am just enough time for taking bath, iron clothes and do some 3d work before off to the office.
Next morning i'll be sure to pull my ear and woke up at scheduled time for my home made breakfast.

"SIXTY-7" new rear light placement.

A new design implementation on "SIXTY-7" models. It has been decided that the rear brake, reverse and signal light should be located along the X-beam groove just along the upper shoulder of the chassis structure which almost have similar design to NISSAN 350Z's rear lights except SIXTY-7 have more stretched and closer to center chassis focus light beam. The exhaust muzzle located similar to "NEMIXIS" exhaust port. "SIXTY-7" however have extra two ports for rear hear dumping ventilation which visibly located at the very rear side of the models with distinct small but smooth triangular vent for air to escape after circleling around the the chasis and cockpit.

Last sunday riding down the hills.

Yesterday i was very tired as i get back home after few hard mountain biking rides behind the city hills and trails. Hardly put my butt behind the computer and quickly i doze off to bed that night. Our mountain biking group have made a long trails leading from top top hill to down the foot trails with zig zag style path making it almost dual slalom like riding but really steep and have to many jump, bumps and slippery drifting switchbacks section behind the city hill top. I was on my hardtails bikes which is very hard to handle since i cycle way fast and cut through tricky corner. I crashed a lot because to many unpredictable bumps and pot holes hidden under the thick grass. I tumble 360 twice every loop i whoop on. Good thing i just had a minor bruises and skabs on my arm and legs below knee.
At night i called my good old buddy who own a bike shop in Kuching City far west side of the state for quote for full suspension bike models and price. Last time i sold my Specialized FSR bike to him now i wanna check out if i can get similar models at updated feature for 2006.

Still not enough!..Lunch time with pizza!

Its noon! lunch! lunch! Now this one is much better than nuggets in the morning. PIZZA HUT! Beef, cheese, veges, saucy spreading and crusty pizza layer. Yum! yum! .....uuhhhhffffssss! My stomach full of crappy food. Wonder if i could cycle at full speed after being overweight by fast food.

Sunday anime watch on notebook.

Ok. after that heavy dinner i took out an ACER notebook an watch some anime episodes. I can't watch certain episode on my PC because the graphic card can't render smooth animation frame when the video screen resized, it looks jagged, i told you ASROCK motherboard with intergrated S3 SAVAGE 3D Pro graphic cards sucks big time! good thing this notebook runing on ATI 200M graphics manage to keep the videos looks smooth and wonderfully rendered. Ah,why i pick up ACER laptop....cause DELL notebook battery can burn and kaaappooofff! anytime, now there recalling their Sony made batteries.

The morning nuggets return!

After morning church i went back home...get ready a half full cooking oil on frying pot. Yes again, nuggets in the morning. All 32 pieces munched in just 32 minutes...well approximately like that. Plus nice hot tea to keep me awake. Need lots of crappy ut tasty munchy calories to get extra energy for this afternoon mountain biking activity. You can say i cook nuggets today because i'm too lazy to cook complicated cuisine or go out to a coffee shop and grab some fresh breakfast. .....lllaaaaazzzyyy to cook.

Big Fat Worm for lunch?!

Uhhhhhh, you know what is this served on the lunch plate yesterday (Saturday), one of my grandma favorite dishes. My mom even like it very much, its has to be cooked barbequed and tasted good when smoke. You can smell those chewey fat and it smells like saucey beef stake. But hold your mouth watering flavour dreams, unless you know what's cooking....it really make me wanna shiver when i realised how freaky those food are. It really reminds me of FEAR FACTOR show.
My granda cooked: SAGO WORM...... you know the one looks like a giant fat maggot worm with an astronaut helmet kinda heat that feeds on dead damp sago wood in the swampy sago plantation area. Yeah, they sell it in the wet market. The native love these fat flavored maggot....i'm meant super ultra fat slugs! Its smellled good when they smoked those in the kitchen but when i look at it and mom ask me to try one i like.....aaaahhhhhh!!! noooo noooo...freak show! freak show! i wanna puke! No wonder so many people want to get their hands on that thingy just because they smellled very good and some people even so crazy they ate it fresh live raw. Luckily not one of my family member wanna eat raw fresh live infront of me. I don't want to know much details. I'll stick to fries and decent beef cheese burger please. Today is Sunday!...chicken nuggets!!

SIXTY-7 rear view chassis: test

Mmmmm.... ooohhh.. did i hit the right spot?, previously i playing around with several parts of 3d meshes and stick around behind "SIXTY-7" at strategic points and came out with radical design layout for the chassis rear apperance.
Its way to much for coupe car but it looks really killer looking out look with various vent holes and exhaust ports. So far i haven't finalised which section should i aplly on light brakes, signal lights and reverse light. Comparison to its big brother "NEMIXIS", this one have much flatter rear chassis and high clearance between ground and under carriage between rear wheels. This is really some kick ass ideas!

Early stage: Take a peek at ultimate "SIXTY-7" model design.

Yesterday my primary active partition that holds Windows XP operating system's master boot record corrupted render unbootable, it doesn't take long to reinstall thing back again. 5 hours later its done. Good thing it doesn't effect much of my working material especially project "SIXTY7".
Above on the left image is sample of screenshot of "SIXTY7" chassis design: a short tail sports coupe taken on mid MAY 2006 in early production on old AMD pc render on klunker GeForce2 MX200. It looks like rivalry to Mercedes CLK and Dodge Viper. "SIXTY7" was design to be muscular and feeling like carrying a big block inline 12 engine on the front hood. Something came out from Gotham City. As seen from the picture it share almost same facial characteristic as "NEMIXIS" which is my idea carrying its genetic inheritance foward to its new siblings. This car should be in the James Bond 007 next movie.

Try to grab cool offer on PCI-e system.

Well this morning I called my friend who previously offered to sell his AMD + PCI-e system to me at cheaper price. He was planning to replace his system with Intel Duo Core PC or new AMD AM2. He always keep his system updated to current trend just to keep the game and multimedia at peak and quality satisfactory performance. He got Geforce 7900GT in his hands, which make me, drool and awe in astonishment. Here are the lists of parts he try to sell
CPU: AMD 3000+ 64
Motherboard: ABIT K8N Ultra socket 939 on Nforce 4 with PCI-e with

http://www.abit.com.tw/page/sa/motherboard/motherboard_detail.php?pMODEL_NAME=KN8+Ultra-SOTES&fMTYPE=Socket%20939

Graphic Card: ALBATRON Geforce 6600 GT

http://www.albatron.com.tw/english/it/vga/specification.asp?pro_id=121#

Total price: USD $205 and below.
I was like doubt and confuse if I should go for it because overall the performance compare to my old AMD system on Geforce 6800GT fell below the my standard performance and test. This spec is just sufficient enough to make stationary unanimated quality rendering. My major concern is how good can it render a ‘running’ vehicle models on 4x4evo2 with settings at shown below:
Anti-aliasing: 8x
Anisotropic: 4x
DirectX: TNL DX8
Resolution: 1024x768
Frame Rate Per-sec (FPS): >> 55fps limit <<

http://www23.tomshardware.com/graphics.html?modelx=33&model1=540&model2=545&chart=197

However other parts such as Memory modules hardisks, case and other PC parts will be used from my previous good old COOLER MASTER PRAETORIAN case. Right now he still on halt whether he should sell it immediately or wait for AMD AM2 system before he could release his current system which is the one he’s going to sell off. I hope he do it fast because somewhere by November 2006 I should ready to release a new 4x4 SUV designs with quality rendering, presentation and driving performance for 4x4 EVO 2 add-on customs.

No Fear!

Last evening me and group of mountain biker went up to the top of 'Canada Hill' in MIRI city scouting for downhill trails and create some long trails for us to explore and use it as a place for us to ride every weekend. We brought some grass and plants clearing tools and shovel to create path for our mountain biking downhilling trails.
As for me i found new spot for me to enjoy and test my guts and fear against 60 degree killer 600 meters longest starcase in MIRI city and also no doubt in Borneo. It was hidden away from public view by crowded wooden house villages and local native settlement way up on the hills. I went down at steep decent through the longest white narrow staircase. Few local kids and old people was startled and mazed with our activity and started to gather some crowds. I manage to clear the area and successfull went down to the last foor of staircase drop on the ground level with no accident. My friend on the other hand crashed badly head first, tore his bike paintjobs and some bruises on his chest because he didn't manage to do left sharp turn at narrow 65 degrees stairs drop. He then decided to walk back up the stairs and phone me through cellphone that he would meet me back to the next downhill point where few mountain bikers will be there to test new downhill track new the PETRONAS MUSEUM at top hills.
I agree and cycle back to that area where i have to cycle way up again. 35 minutes later i rejoin with them and in the background crowd gather and cheers as one of our mountain biker buddy Mr. William manage to jump and slide down the steep suicidal downhill nearly steep angle at 80 degree with 'S' bend at peak drop point. He manage to dive down as smooth as butter. Not many people wanted to do the steep downhill dive so i gave my best suicidal shot on my bike. At first 2 try i skid at the peak and almost crash hit the rock near the curve. Over the curve is deep ravine of no return. Crash there and there's no tomorrow. It was getting dark at 7.00pm. Everyone waiting to next competitors to beat Williams record.
So i lowered my seat, everyone saw i'm ready to make the third attempt to dive in at steep downfill point. I knock my pedals to clear off some dust, clip on and keep on pedal downwards...
At 'S' turn i say my prayer and quickly move my body way behind my saddle. My front wheels drop down damn fast at damn steep angle. Quickly i lock the rear break and make an INITIAL-D drift turn so that the rear wheels navigate the body into a straight line position where i can drop straight down and clear off the path while the speed on my bike maintain at safe level. Then as fast as lightning i duck down and leap above bumpy rocky hills downwards and yes.... i manage to clear the hills with no freak accident. People like cheering and stunned. hhaa..haaa.. yeah. I faced my fear now. Other just like, "what tha"... and wish the could do the same stuff i did but risk getting major accident at drop point.
I push my bike back up the hills again. It was dusty trails. My whole body covered with white powdery dusts from dry soils. My bike all white but looks dirt rugged..cool!. Up there i went over to the cooler box, pop-up some two ice canned "100 plus isotonic" drinks, look back behind me into the city backdrop down the hills behind the thick dense forest in between and said "Damn that was really a sick ride....but one mighty happy day today!"

Nuggets in the morning!

Woke up at 5.15am,
-took bath
-turn on the pc and working on my new 3d models.
-6.25am: Go to church
-8.30am: back from church and arrive home....
Since i'm lazy to cook some reeeeaaaallll heeeaaalllthhhyy wwhhoooolleeesooommeee.. breakfast, I decided to unpack some stuff from the freezer and grab loads of golden unthaw nuggets.
Heaten up some cooking oil and put dozen of nugget till deep fried. Few minutes later it turn into golden hot orange, crispy and yummy. All together there are 29 pieces all for me..bwaahaa haa..
Took out some Thai Chilli sauce, dip my nugget on it and yeahh...mmmmmm!! goood!
Enjoying my nuggets while sitting in front of my PC playing online. What a great time to spent early morning Sunday.

Strange meaningless dream.

Today I got this weird dream I had last night:
I was like running side by side with an opponent with number tag on his T-shirt..kinda like sport event or something, I’m jumping though tyres, climb over the wooden wall, cling over the vines and swing from one end to other end like Tarzan and landed at the foot of the tower . Then run up the stairs chasing my opponent to see who got reach the top first.
On top there’s a rope which link from the top tower to the lower ground with length around 100m. Participants have to glide down like flying squirrel on wire. Upon reaching the ground there’s a bike. I walk over.. it was my orange/grey mountain bike, the instructor then instructed us to cycle back and forth round the local village country side… then suddenly I woke up,….its Saturday - 5.40am. Wheeww…what was that all about.!?

Office: Going down, going up and round and round we go...in the office.

If i'm not mistaken if i start working in the office from 8.00am to 5.00pm i must have been walking around the office at length of 45Km overall per-day alone. Almost daily from Monday to Friday.
I felt like an office boy instead of IT personnel. In a day i just spent 3 hours behind my PC desk and the rest hours walking around doing IT support and services to noobish user. When i arrive at my desk more paper work coming in, phone calls, account admin, e-mail, remote desktop support, some customer crapping some some BS, wiring, network troubleshooting, anything from A to Z..yeah you name it.
Today i almost lost balance on my body, some office staff tell me if i got sick or something because i had a pale face, i almost collapse and began dizzy, i got almost sudden blackout vision at around 2.00pm. My body can't hold on such pressure. I even took heavy breakfast and moderate lunch before that...should have full blown enery till night time...but doesn't work at all.
Whenever i get back to the desk, sit down and look behind me i can see my office colleague within the same MIS/IT department sleeping, relaxing, chatting laughing, surf the net and some play dumb. WTF.. are these guy working or something? How come they have so much free time? Big pay and relaxing? What the hell. If i were in there shoes i would slot those free time with self learning skills on stuff like LINUX and learn how to built my own server on RED HAT. Unlucky for me its hard to dig just a few minutes to take time learning those stuff. My boss previously promised me to put me into LINUX administration position. Few months later he dump me into web design work in the future after meeting i heard from my colleague. This is distrust to employee.
All the employees in the companies under the same building notice that the rest of the staff MIS department have been slacking around and over use the resources because they only saw me running around helping people around the building and outside realtime. Good thing my relationship with outside department so call inter company relationship become more closer and friendlier. My public relation with workers are good especially with bosses and other higher management people. I can see some potential showing up. I felt so happy and plus with tears of joy when i knew some people really care what i have been through and gave support and cheer to me to continue keep up the good work. And yes i did, before i get back home i never left any job undone. Everything must be completed on time.
