Flying tips: Turn it dark

Here is the best solution for those R/C pilot who have visibility problem when flying 'line of sight' (L.O.S) at high altitude on white cloudy sky.  Just paint/spray almost 50-70% your plain plane with black or other darker paint against sky color and you will able to see your plane clearly against the blue, white or dusky sky because your plane wings or other parts looks contrast/visible.  But do not spary the whole plane with same color make sure you make a differentiation of colors on every surface of the plane so you could recognized which parts is up, down, left or right orientation.  Thus you will never loose, confused orientation or lost sight of your plane again.  Cheers.

Go higher into the blue sky ...adventure adventure begins!

Years into R/C finally i'm getting closer to realised my dream flying into deep blue sky but i need to appproach slowly step by step as precaution not to make future mistake of possible crashing a 450 size heli.  3 week ago got me 2 sets of heli  plus some hardware necessity after withdraw from my Adsense Ads profit and make use of investment into flying because i'm strongly going into FPV flight (First Person View). I felt confident i could handle a bigger size heli after flown a ESKY BELT CP, ALIGN TREX 100 and hours of Phoenix Simulator. Took me 3 weeks of kit assembly work and a week of post flying preparation before taking off into the air.  The science and tech behind flying this machine are like 7 wonders of the world unlike comparison to ground based r/c models.   Flying models have more versatile usability ranging from fun flying to FPV (First Person View) useful for aerial observation, exploration, high altitude photography and other thing that we can't do on the ground which is why i'm heading to the sky. My heli a HK 450 GT belt driven already equipped with KDS Flymentor stabilization system hopefully could carry some usefull payload such as camera and FPV equipment for remote flying cam "Unmanned Flying" may land me a good opportunity as a civilian search and rescue heli and aerial photography as return investment on day.  As for now i just practise some basic manouvers and enjoy as part being able to pilot a manly machine.  Thankfully we got lots of friendly local flier to help me out with some flying stuff...very happy. Will report more status in a few days about flying soon.   I guess by now you guys should know where i've been since i'm not always at my website http://www.supermotoxl.com/ ,  Gone out flying babe!!

Ride under the moon.

The best thing having an extreme dry spell during the day especially this dry season is that at night the clouds will be very clear, cold and brightly lit moon as if its crashing close to earth. Me an my buddies cycle along the partially scorched grass land with our lights turned off allowing the rays of moonlight to take over and shines our path. It was totaly almost blue luminance around us and really breath taking scenery as the cold wind pass by behind us pushing us forward ease our pedaling. As we cycle away from urban night lights we are flooded with blue darkness but its was too beautiful to ignore such rare occasion to see what forest nature looks like under the brightly cloudless moon. All the grasses and tree leaf tuned bright blue with a bit sparkle on its surface. The we ride up the hill to see the entire horizon of field below us. Wow, its like blue carpet of sea.

Ride under blue sky

For two continuous week our local weather remains sunny and hot. All dry and blue sky. Good news for me but bad news for others. All pack up, bike in my sedan and i'm leaving for the trails to meet up with other mountain bikers to hit the trails that was located 5 minutes drive before Lambir National Park. As usual before ride i got my chance to view some new blings on our buddies rides, IBIS carbon bikes, FUJI carbon and SHIMANO SAINT which hardly seen at local shop. Cool.
We hit the trails at 3.30pm going up and down the hills i mean way up and way down. The surface was all hard rock and slippery so i had to keep my butt on the saddle to keep the grip down. The trail dust looks beautiful as it smokes some tails as we weave down the wide dry trails under the blue sky. We move from high hill down into fields of swampy plantation and again going up through toughest rocky trails like having 3x gravity on our feet. Some doesn't make it though but lucky me i already fuel up my body with dozen of bananas, high sugar carbonate drinks and few plates of meats in the morning...hehehee..
At the end of the ride i realised my brake lever losing its pivot king pin which holds the brake lever in its place. Damns that was the 2nd time i lose the pin. The rocky trails must have cause my bike to vibrate too much and it flew off the coop. Well time to get back and order custom parts for it. However my Sunday was well spent having back with buddies and burn back some calories so i can eat like a king again before next ride..hahahar.

Blue afternoon.

Ahhh.....sunny day, anything that is blue up in the sky put a big smile in the face. It must be dry and sunny to keep me feel alive and adventurous. Some people are shame enough not able to appreciate their beautiful surroundings. Thanks god i learn to appreciate stuff around me. I feel like tarzan today. Feeling you is good for health even you're aging. That's psychological truth.

Driving.....wish i was on my bike.

I hate driving. Look! blue sky! windy and nice breezy lane. I wish i could tore off my car roof and enjoy the openness. I hate line up behind cars. wish i was on my bike. Maybe i should be.. You better exercise your heart because driving make you lazy and lazy heart leads to weak muscle and less heart pumping power. Can't wait to get back home and hug my bike.

Adventure returns!

Another great adventure day is here again, Sunday is always a golden holiday for me. The beach, blue sky, green nature and windy breezy wind...umm yeah some coconuts! Well last Sunday me and a group of friends went out riding on out mountain bikes out into the Borneo Forest in the outskirt of Miri City, a few miles away from hustle bustle of busy cities. We started our journey from the beach. Landed at 3.30pm and on the move by 3.50pm toward front end of local beach villages along the seaside. From there we penetrate through into the forest. Thick bushes, narrow trails and cracky soils and roots all are an exciting challenges pounced onto our physical strength. A few miles in the forest i was having a tyre puncture, the whole pack move on leaving me behind and a friend to accompany me while i'm fixing the tyre. A few minutes later me and my buddy on the move through the grassy fields backdropped with beautifully hilly scenery...too bad we have to endure some muddy pot holes. Around us looks like some African savana trails with that trees around us look alike ones. The pack that move ahead of us was not in our sights and way too fasr to reach since they all gone into dark narrow twisty forests. But we manage to zig zag in the jungle since we've been here couples of time without worries of getting lost. We reached a small river where we have to hike up our bike over it, then passes some mangroove of Jackfruits trees..there too many over grown fruit fell down lay wasted and smell very strong too, After zig zagging for few hours both of us manage to reunite wit the rest of the cycling pack at the intersection of a path in the middle of local villages. So we continue to south direction towards hilly area and going down into cracky soily trails which leads to Borneo Lambir National Park.
.......and so we ride and ride and ride and ride and ride......few hours later we turn back after found a dead end where big trees and unpaved trails blocking our route to designated destination. At 6.30pm we turm around and head back home on reverse direction. This time we sprint all the way to the finishing point. Its win win situation to see who reached to the finishing line which is where we parked our cars. I hammered my bike really hard and whipped at 57Km/h speed. Later i ended at 4th place! not bad at all. 30 minutes later the whole rides manage to gather around and pop-up some cold iced isotonic drinks. Its was sunset, we sat around facing the beach scenery looking at sundown turn romantic orange...it was beautiful! After a few chat and laugh we head back home....ahhhhh!!!! time not wasted...i love my life, life well spent enjoying whats surround us.

The sky so blue!

Blue! Color of peace... I'm really glad and lucky enough to realised that i was born to live freely under the sky and have freedom to wonder around and enjoy the beauty which few people didn't notice what they haved missed. I went outside the office during lunch time and took a nice shots of Nimbus cloud formation. It was beautiful creamy puffy white backdropped with bright blue color. In my heart i was very excited to see it and dream to wonder around the land below the bright blue sky. It makes me want to bring out my bike and ride!.....taste the breezy wind blew around my body, pass by green white cotton grass and over looks the horizon of vast sea and mountains....usually i experince it on every Saturday and Sunday noon...ride out of the city and into the wild country side.

When i was young me and my friend used to cycle along the beach at noon, the sound of wavy sea, the sound of wind twirl in my ear, trees and green grass sways as we pass by. The bright sunshine sparkle the sea water into bright crystal like glass and reflect blueish sky above. It was a breath taking scene! We always go up into the hill and lay down on the grass for hours staring at the oceans and up in the sky. My mind was at peace, empty but filled with unexplained happiness...no more worried about school, homeworks, anger, frustration, headache, worries, video games, moneys, materialism or anything that bothers our mind. Strange.... just by looking up into huge space of emptyness by bright blue sky..... minds wonders so freely... thought why? ...but dunno what in my mind.... its all beautiful. Ever since then i was tempted to go outdoors seeking peace and happiness with my trusty companion..a mountain bike.

Fear nothing...travel miles away from home seeking for a perfect place to set free my mind, thinking one day i may find Utopia or Heaven's garden. Heee...heee... sometimes it really helps to develop positive creativity minds and build more innovative imagination by just wondering out there doing your own version of epic adventure for a day.
