Happy sunday on rc!

I've met Ian today for him to handover my purchase on mini-z collection. I finally got special NSX KYOSHO 1st generation chasis (MR01s) with hop up handling parts and performance wheelsets. Plus some additional accessories to feed my IWAVER MR02 worn out parts. Today i brought out three R/C to the local carpark for test drive at 5pm and finish at 8pm. NRX-18 NANDA doesn't satisfied my fun as the battery drain very fast in less than 15 minutes. However two mini-z manage to keep the fun for more than 30 minutes and didn't get over heated over ESC parts after long endurance sprint. Besides smaller car took more public head turns than bigger brother. I have great time today. so happy that i almost forgot some client project and finish up my 3d model work which i have to settle this week. Ok time to catch up some side income stuff, lol :D

Its mini week!

I almost forgot about 3d work, but this week i'm all hands on mini-z racing and do some modification work. Currently i'm testing out some performance tune up and manage to bought custom body shell of replica SUBARU WRC blue body shell from third party radio control. I convert it and replace my old yellow SUBARU body shell with new ones. Its looks great and extremely well in details. The new body shell comes with workable headlights! I haven't made and FET chip upgrade but still looking for supplier who could supply and install so that i could put 40000rpm motors.

On the other hands it looks like i need to postponed the release of "EXAGE CD 20.0 XL-AM" model work to next week since i'm all excited full filling my time playing radio control car this week.

Sunday on R/C activity

Sunday its here...looks awesome weather in the morning, as usual having meal outside and all outdoor activity at noon. But weather changed so sudden say no thanks to global weather changes and ice caps meltdown its raining cats and dog again on borneo continent...and again..and again. People should stop polluting the air which results alternation to global weather system. Suppose to hit the trails on the bike but due to rain i just went out with my i-waver mini-z rc car and spent with my buddy bashing our radio control car out in the public park. He's on 4 wheel monster while i'm on yellow WRC SUBARU. At the end of the carnage i win but probably next trip i should pull out my mini monster RC Hummer and bash again next next Sunday...after pimped up with motor and tune up mods.

40000 rpm motors for my mini-z rc

Well today i didn't work much on my 3d models or any design. Mostly today i spent much of my time at town with my buddy looking for mini-z radio control upgrades. Planned just for windows shopping survey for parts before planing my initial budget next week but there were limited pack of motor for upgrade at "Toys World". At first i was aiming for TAMIYA PLASMA motor which rev around 2900 rpm or decent TAMIYA TORQUE TUNED motor which is the best so far but another motor above the shelf hit 40000 rpm!!! left two packs so i grab the last two boxes, paid in cash and heads home happily! why? because those motors are rare to find especially around this city as we've search up and downs every corner of the shop looking for ultimate parts for r/c upgrades.

At home upon inspection it was highly tuned motors using carbon brushing and fully bearings shaft! Online manual for mini-z upgrade won't allowed these hi-rev motor as it could fried my ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) without FETs chip upgrades unless i installed external Turbo device. The only option i should put this motor on is to installed on cheap R/C such as my Auldey monster or that Race-Tin Gen 3 can. I'm not going to put my hundreds dollars of I-WAVER R/C cooked. Hope fully next week mod we could see this motor hit around 80-89KM/H. And fried PCB board. I hope i can post it in youtube.com soon.
