I like it hot and windy

Ah! Just the right day to ride my mountain bike on hot and windy afternoon. The sky is clear blue, cotton clouds, dry trails and life full of nature's energy around me. I keep my pace slow and steady climbing up the hills, not in rush like i used too. As i got aged i don't think i'm willing to put too much competitive speed on the trails like racing around up and down with other riders but to ride as nature tourist sight seeing wonders of nature. Lot of alltitiude ride today as we go high above the sea level overlook carpets of forest canopy. The sea looks glowing gold and the grass just like in the Praire hills as it waved by the winds. I wish this hilly trails was my backyard and months of holidays on my calendar so i could spent most of my happy life more meaning full on earth. After years of riding my dependance on living in urban concrete seems to fade and the trump card within in pull me back to mother nature where human used to dwell as habitat. But that doesn't mean being i can't integrate myself with modern world. Thankfully we still got internet connectivity and portable everyday technology behind our bag to keep us updated everywhere we go.

Its a plastic world out there

There are too much plastic in our society, worst its can be found on our daily food consumption everyday. Plastic is not something that our body can digest nor have any useful property into our system. It can cause intestine twisting, ulcer or worse cancer if the plastic successfully disintegrate into smaller particle able to sip though our body tissue and into our blood vein. In real world plastic is used to preserve food cosmetically to increase sales profit by long run but at the same time risking having food hazard to consumer health. This week i accidentally ate what can possibly be a plastic coating to coat sausages rather than natural layer of consumable gelatin. So i ate two of it until i realized my sister warn me to remove those plastic coatings the next day later. Puzzled and stunned i was shock to realized how such thing that looks very consumable everyday item can be plastic when common sense says you could. Worse i deep fried it and i knew the plastic already melted with the meat and i consumed. Well i hope my body could withstand such abuse from tainted hazardous food. 5 days later when having breakfast in the city the same sausages with plastic coatings found inside the food as i could feel it seems too hard to tear down the meat. OMG! plastic seems to be every where and part of normal life which no one seems to notice. I hate to knew the fact that food produces seems to ignore safe food consumption but instead get over high volume of profit through easy and fast production. Sucks indeed.. i should get back to the kitchen and make my own food.

Parasite in my timetable

There is one lesson i learn this month; is never to jump into peoples timetables via unlikely invitation either for the sake of friendship, a helping hands or simply as a favor....its just a bad move. Stuff like that makes your life complicated. In a day there are 24 hours to spent: 10 hours for career, 7 hours for sleep, 2 hours for meal, 2 hours of self commitment and 2 hours for fun and family. However if you have an uninvited buddy barging your timetable you'll have domino effect that ruin your entire timeline of life in your calendar. This week i spent around 4 hours of useless moments doing other people bidding that doesn't seem to bear any productive or positive work both mentally and physically.... and worst your buddy sometimes doesn't know what is a "timeout". "Time Parasite" is when someone steals your time that you've planned earlier by inviting you doing stuff that is "worthless" on your account. "Time is Money"....i used to ignore those statement when i was young, but as i got old in my current 30's time is indeed worth more than just money. Cats have a good set example to follow; they seems to be relaxed, ignore any temptation to follow others into their boots or looking for trouble. They are relaxed, trouble free creature and follow their own tunes. Dog on the other hands like to take invitation, jump into troubles, fights and begging help. I should be like a cat

Home made munch is a must

If you're in the 1990's having lunch outside home still consider safe and do less harm to health. But with today advancement of commercialisation, food industries are rushing to attract customers with lower price, fast instant food and big profit with less resources needed to produce food products for customer especially this year in 2010. Now days the word "fast food" even the ones serve in high class restaurant consider very hazardous because the new business trends tends to cut cost on safety manufacturing protocol and cheap ingredients used to serve customer especially when the use artificial MSG, coloring, chemical oriented flavour and high preservative content too keep the products last longer pose threat to consumer health with 75% risk of getting fatal diseases and cancer. Even when you go behind some restaurant you can see they dump "pink" colored cooking oil which resukts from repeatedly use beyond its recomended life span cycle....thats way too dangerous. I guess you've heard my side of story about how my sister and my aunts got their first health hazard almost hit the red zone.
I practice myself to minimized consumption on outside food by making myself a home made lunch box/ home packed food when ever i need it for outside meal. Its safe because you know you made it yourself. I don't want to risk my health under someones hand. Remember. Precaution is better than cure.
