Slow pace work on 3d models today.
Its monday, what do you expect from human nature who just jump into working zone when he look back the relaxing Sunday has gone. So as me being in the Sunday mood. Body felt week and felt so hard to move my mouse click over the screen. 8.00am to 5.00pm in the office ..then 8.00pm till midnight for gaming and modeler community work. urhhh...I felt like Robocop with 30% battery level in my body.
After googling some stuff over the net about my upcoming hobby on Mini-z, at the meantime i had to keep my mind focus finishing my 4x4evo2 3d models "EXAGE". Today i just group up some external and internal meshes into 80% partially complete one package models. The external body modular work and internal cockpit merge together to get better view of my output work. OK, it looks good. The next step is to build undercarriage and axle/suspension system plus discbrake caliper for this car. Hopefully i get it done tomorrow. I can't wait to reach a special phase where texture coating/finishing comes in play.

Thanks to Ian!! I got my mini-z!!!!!! woooohoooooOOOOO!!!!!
I was really really happy today because i manage to get a good bargain on 2nd set of mini-z MR-01s models from plus a set of hop up parts at affordable price enough to start my mini-z collection. His name is "Ian" from our local forumer in miri City (http://www.miricommunity.net). Finally i met him at IPOH CAFE where all MiriCommunity.net gathers. The stuff he offered was good even it was on old model, yet the models i choose already tuned and got receive spare upgraded PCB. Thanks to Ian i finally have these!!:
-MINI-Z MR-01s on NSX GT body shell complete ready to run!(upgraded stability bar, custom rear shoxs and steering)
-Sets of alloy rims with disc brake set, lock nuts, bearings.
-2 sets of spare tyres/wheels (2x 4)
-Pro-Z chassis (low CG body)
-modified PCB with upgraded FET chip for high rpm motors
-Sets of gearing parts
-Steering parts
-extra chassis (mr01s)
- plus something he says inside his tool box.
Oooooohhh man! can't wait to get it running next week!! The bargain was good!! All for RM$400. I've paid (ringgit Malaysia currency) RM$250 for deposit, Have to wait for him to assemble back the mini-z into complete ready to run car and will deliver it next week same time, same day place. Below are some picture:
Its was glad to meet Ian, very nice guy! really know lots on mini-z. Pleasure to make business with you Ian.
I don't think i can sleep well this week until he get it running...awwwwwwwww uuuuuuuuuuu!!!
PS: Hey Ian, remember next Sunday, get i done so i can goreng the jalan raya. hee.hee...hee..

Back to work: Concept muscle car cockpit at 50%
Back to the design board! Its time to finish off where i left. Yes it the cockpit constrcution for "EXAGE". This is very much of quicky work. The base floor, roofing and wall of the interior already fully meshed up and most of the dash boards, gear box, seats and audio components are reused back from my previous newly release "MAXXIMUS" models. This save me lots of time rebuilding cockpit components. UV mapping should be easy because the meshes already mapped up with texture mapping points. I hope i could ready to render the texture body by tomorrow or if i have time maybe tonight. Still this process require dual span monitor to map up 2048x2048 size texturing. Thats one painfull work. I hope the 4x4evo2/1,TM and modeler community have patient to wait since i've promised them to released by this end March...sorry..i'm late..lol

Saturday night out.
Its saturday, where i can always relax from work and reward my self with outside dinner. My mind never clouded with work from the office because i never ever dare to think of it, lesson to learn. Never bring your office work back home. The only thing i have in my was my MINI-Z. How to fix it and bring the fun out of it. Its broken so just wait for next day to wait for miracle to pop-up.
I like having dinner in the open space, it feel like ala French cafe style , roofless. Eating at home was no fun because its under the roof. Not romatic at all but not always going out for dinner because to much out side food is not good for health. Take note.

Farewell old buddy.
Finally i decided to sold off my 10 year old companion at Hiap Ho bike shop near boulevard, the fastest bike frame of its kind, the best was hitting 90km/h drafting behind lorry and 105km/h kamikaze down the hill. Well i don't think its making much investment puting it for another years as property like this could depreciate if new technology comes in. An hour later quickly sold off to my friends meant for his wife to ride. I have to many bike and 1 have to leave to make room for another. "FASTRAX: 1998-2008"....won several and international mountain bike championship. Win me lots of medals and made the country proud. Now it belong to a lady owner, i hope she treat you well. Oh man a lady...well worth the many i get paid for selling these. **sob *sob...goodbye! goodbye!!! memories will be within me.

Its mini week!
I almost forgot about 3d work, but this week i'm all hands on mini-z racing and do some modification work. Currently i'm testing out some performance tune up and manage to bought custom body shell of replica SUBARU WRC blue body shell from third party radio control. I convert it and replace my old yellow SUBARU body shell with new ones. Its looks great and extremely well in details. The new body shell comes with workable headlights! I haven't made and FET chip upgrade but still looking for supplier who could supply and install so that i could put 40000rpm motors.
On the other hands it looks like i need to postponed the release of "EXAGE CD 20.0 XL-AM" model work to next week since i'm all excited full filling my time playing radio control car this week.

Sunday on R/C activity
Sunday its here...looks awesome weather in the morning, as usual having meal outside and all outdoor activity at noon. But weather changed so sudden say no thanks to global weather changes and ice caps meltdown its raining cats and dog again on borneo continent...and again..and again. People should stop polluting the air which results alternation to global weather system. Suppose to hit the trails on the bike but due to rain i just went out with my i-waver mini-z rc car and spent with my buddy bashing our radio control car out in the public park. He's on 4 wheel monster while i'm on yellow WRC SUBARU. At the end of the carnage i win but probably next trip i should pull out my mini monster RC Hummer and bash again next next Sunday...after pimped up with motor and tune up mods.
EXAGE CD 20.0 XL-AM
Yes ladies and gentlemen, a new car on the block in town!
A modern classical retro ready to burn some rubber. I've just started to work on it just after the release of MAXXIMUS and ZEN few weeks ago, it was fast easy and the modelling work is more like "stick to one parts and go!" This month my concentration on making models was on high alert, very much resourceful and timetable well manage. Lucky me! Currently i'm done with the outer shell model meshes of "EXAGE" now working some modelling on the interrior cockpit, this should be easy because interrior parts will reused back from "MAXXIMUS" interrior models. This car suppose to be four seater car with 2 front and 2 at the back because the back is much narrow space so i keep it two seater. Above is sample of mesh work that i've just done after face detaching process to make it looks smooth for vertex shading feature. However i haven't finalize yet what wheel design it should come along since this usually must come with retro muscle wheel design. I'll probably will post my design report on the wheels tomorrow after i'm done with the interrior works.

X3-SIXTY in Need for speed most wanted
Check out Mr. Mclaren_3dcm conversion work at this links:
http://www.nfscars.com/file/view/mostwanted/8070.aspx
Its looks better rendered in latest game engine like NFSMW rather than plain Z-modeler like i used to render pose it. A great work conversion work by Mclaren_3dcm and best kept original unlike most converter out. Thanks. I hope he can convert my next models which is the version number 20 aka muscle car in NFSMW end of this month. Stay tuned.

Which comes first?
This year adrenalin rush for product release was too much, i should've cool down but i can't. Opportunity open wide!
Soon after the release of "MAXXIMUS" and "ZEN" i already made a "yet to be named" concept muscle car and also revived and refurnished my old track project "Whirl Wind".
Which one should i release first? the car or the track?

Sunday BBQ party
After our evening ride on local trails we head back to our parking lot for BBQ among mountain biking buddies, we're having our great evening at crowded local beach. Some beef, pizzas, fried, snacks, veges, fruits, some taste munchie and lastly heavy pack of booze to keep us happy for the whole night. The weather quickly deteriorate from extremely hot sunny afternoon to breezy cloudy evening, it didn't effect us much as we continue celebrating and have some good time with chats, laughters and stories to tell among ourself. Im pick up my PSP and took some shots around the scene. I'm not much of a heavy drinker but since it was an invitation i took 7 bottle and still manage to stay concious and alert the whole time. A good mental ability can overcome drunk. People have low mental power and spirit only get drunk easily. We consume too much on these fatty food but i'll remind myself to burn down some weight this week through cycling.

My PC Cooked!?
I was shocked in the morning when i notice my PC suddenly died after few minutes of runing early wee in the morning. Start....stop...start..stop...start..stop.. what?! I checked the 550 watt power supply, display card, cords, cables, fans, motherboards and etc... nothing suspcious of getting any short circuits. Today suppose to upload SDK package but interrupted by broken PC.
The next afternoon after work hours i went home, pull my PC out in the open and clean off some dirty dusty particle that clogged all those vents, heatsink and fans which might probably contribute to extreme overheat and cause fail safe activity on the power module. After disassemble my pc parts there were tonnes of dust clogged my pc parts to the max at bottle neck level. The dust way too thick for COOLER MASTER fan to handle. So i did some quick dusting the interrior and make sure everthing is clean.
5 hours later its was the PC tested and runs well!... the time was 1.30 in the morning...too late! i have to load the SDK package into my website tomorrow ...zzz...zzz
