Here another picture from my eye point of view and on my bike. Took this scenic picture around my local city. Kinda hard to take picture while on the move with two hands on the cam while the bike moving with hads off the handle bar. Good thing i have enough skill to ride bike well balance without hands on the handle bar. Gladly this month the rain gotten less and lesser. Its all dry and blue sky. Better take opportunity to ride fully before wet seasons. Most importantly if you view around you in certain angle our surrounding is indeed very breath taking and admirable to see. Thankfully all these memorable picture recorded in my PSP for repeated viewing.

Riding scene before dark.
Windy and breezy afternoon. A little hot but i wouldn't want to miss those good hours riding mountain bike around the city before it turn the day to blackness. The city quite calm, less motorist by 6.50pm. I whizz in and out of town through narrow alley, sidewalks, streets and shop corridor balancing on my two wheels. Its was breath taking to see lively scene in the city as i pedal freely like the wind.

Part 2: become game developer
So they found you? Usually they will ask few things about:
- past work
- past employer/game dev-publisher
- achievements
- developement/3d tools you use
The fact is mostly they hoping if one can use tools like 3D Studio or GMAX because this is the coomon tools they use to develop meshes for their game environment object. Which sometimes troubled me since i use Z-modeler from the start and GUI stuff really twisted my braihn around, luckily i have was to export in 3DS format with little glitches.
There will be so me issue and risk you have to face when you're hired for contract, these are major ones that i usually got me an asprin for my headache:
- Can you cope with tight deadlines? ?
This is the biggest problem for most of us modeler to confront. Eg: building at least 2 detailed car models in 5 days can be tight jobs especially during the day you have other careere to face with. Penalty will be inpose for by pass the due because most game project involve time = money thing. A day or two loss means $$$ loss. Usually they will deduct from your contract payment else quick termination. So before you sign contract be sure YOU REALLY CAN CATCH UP WITH THE TIMELINES.
One thing i hate being in that "3d artist/modeler position" in game development teams is that you tends to built replica of something rather than thinking what i'm free to design especially when they built car involving licenced car models. Why dun they just skip that expensive car and just built a DIY brands? Luckily ony 70% out of 100% giving me chance to express freely on my designs, That's a plus!
Oh yeah i forgot, the most headache thing that comes at last part of the projetc was legal paperwork, tax and payment settlement that usually involve lots of walk around in and out off the legal department, banks and customs office...arrghhh...those forms are pulling my legs....that's when you're under overseas contract.

A last chances to NEMIXIS. The final touch.
NEMIXIS already gain fame around the internet especially customs design fans around the globe since its first release few years ago. Already caught the hearts of modeler in 4x4 evolution 1/2, need for speed, grand theft auto, Trackmania TM/Sunrise and other genre. It was the only car that i left as standard stock design without variants or adding speciality to customs feature or paintjobs. And soon will be a reality.
This month i'm going to re-setup NEMIXIS with new wheels, spoiler, vents, downforce skirting and upgrades from its "XGT" status to "GTR 1800". This car will be devided into 2 or 3 variant based on request which will be inform via blog report soon, As you've seen before the wheels "HURRICANE" will be attached along to 2nd custom NEMIXIS. This will be the last touch up on NEMIXIS before i jump into finishing NEMIXIS rival young brother this coming december.

Saturday gathering.
My daily schedule always packed with lots of outdoor activity. Like my primary outdoor activity mountain biking i also allow few hours time allowance for R/C hobby which always being at around 4.00pm and onwards. On this specialday i brought some of my R/C on the event spot to try out few models on few laps around the circuit. Among my favorite will always be that yellow mini which have excelent both performance and longer runtimes to keep us enjoyed till the sun goes down behind the horizon. Only few manage to stay back late and almost we do play r/c on daily basis since its a good way to relax after office hours. As for me going back home early always been a bad news as i know i always ended up sleepy on the pillow.

GPU R.I.P my friend.
Well looks like all my PC at home over worked especially the GPU cards.
-GEFORCE 7600 GS (overheated and died due extensive heavy poly rendering on development models)
-VANTA LT (one of the resistor burned out casing the AGP slots unable to control the current supply to GPU)
Both replace with this new AGP cards to revive old but worth working and investment.
-ATI X1550 PRO
-GEFORCE FX5500
yeah, yeah i know they both have cheap performance but as long it does the job they are worth running. Heck save money than buying new PC.
Btw the old GEFORCE 7600 GS worth the living before it died since it already worked lots of project and stuff interm of Return Of Investment (ROI).
Below are the page links show differences between and old gpu with replacement ones:
http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php?card1=434&card2=501
It looks like i loose a few millions of render performance by a seconds but heck its a value card nearest to 7600GS with same memory bandwith and advantage of +50Mhz extra core clock.
Well atleast i can run my PC and view stuff on internet via my monitor,

HURRICANE wheelset design
Here my updates on latest wheel designs, i called it the "Hurricane", not because its hurricane seasons but it has the slightly bend whirl like spoke configuration by 5 to 15 degree slanted angle like spinning propeller. The wheel however looks similar to the one used by X3-SIXTY car that i design previously but this one have the speed feeling factor...yeah just slightly change. It will be used for my next car design that will be an exotic italian like sports car or a European standard, The models will hopefully comes either or both 3 to 6 spoke configuration.
But it won't be available until December for the release because rendering its UV texture required a good graphic card to render the surface contour which i've just fried my GeForce 7600 GS for AGP slot. So i need to keep low this month till i get my workstation PC fix.
Cool!! Windows XP for Playstation Portable.
I've stumble upon cool file for PSP as i was looking for easy and quick mods for my PSP, its "PSP Wxp" or better known as Playstation Portable Windows XP. Installation was fairly simple, Windows XP interface accessible via internet browser and all GUI and application accessible very similarly to Windows XP basic application which almost looks like PDA, eg, basic calculator, notepad, games, setup panel just like a protable Windows Mobile PDA interface. Its cool to have this software for PSP as eye candy and its safe. The file is very small and will not harm any internal firmware or software structure in your PSP. I give it a 4 thumbs up for those people who want to have Windows XP like portable PC.
Below some info about PSP Windows XP from the software author:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PspWxp stands for PlayStation Portable Windows XP (based off of winpsportal) and allows you to use Windows XP on your Playstation Portable. Well, really it is just a set of Webpages that look similar to Windows XP, but they are offline. It has some useful features lots of games and applications. You do not need to access the Internet for most of pspWxp, only to access the links and use the Web browser.
As it is only 1.5 Megabytes in size, it will fit on any memory card. pspWxp will not harm your PSP. Version 1.02 does not show previous app/game on starting a new app/game, fixed music menu button, five card stud poker slightly changed and bug fixes.

Click on "Download Now" to download the zip file containing Windows XP for your PSP.
Download it and save it to any location on your PC. Open the zip file which will be called "pspWxp102.zip" Double click on the "Install" .exe file.
Select the letter of the drive that your PSP is connected to. Click "OK" Click "Yes" to install it. It will begin to transfer the files required to your PSP, which may take a few minutes.
Once it is complete a message will pop up saying "Finished Copying," so click "OK," to continue.

part 1: Become game developer?
Here something from my experience I'm going to give you guys some long tips on how to become part of real professional game developer project team. But i'll be concentrating more on my previous development job which is as a "3d artist" or better known as "3d modeler"....sounds different but they actually same. I used to join in for few commercial game development but after a few project i quit because it far difficult to catch up with timelines, due dates, incompatibility stuff this and that, Yes i sounds cool to be part of game developer but actually it is harder than you think it was. In this episode i'll be telling you how you can be hired into the game development internationally and up till the game project is done for publishing. Today i'm going to tell you how they scout in for potential candidate for developer post.
1. These people usually recruit some members via internet search, recomendation from modeler community, forum, download portal, model quality, 3d models design uniqueness and rare.
2. If they found the candidate they will look through your profile, your product quality, quantity, popularity, design uniqueness (not duplicates), 3d design format, tools and backward compatibility. If your are newbies and made models like 10 units i with experience and exposure for less than 3 year, you have less chances and hit the road jack! The best is someone who makes more 3d models in quality, then comes quantity and measured by 5 years and above experience with involvement with project related to commercial gaming like NVIDIA, ATI, EA, TERMINAL REALITY, ATARI and other joint venture project.
3. The best is always a recomendation and advice from senior people, web master, game portal owner, beta tester, senior game modders who have close connection with game developer which he or she the senior introduced to you to the project team.
What you should have to get their attention and have better chances to join their development team?:
Ok this is what i did and what i have:
1. Need to have massive quantity of high quality and unique production of models!....prefer years of experienced. You got 10 years worth of sweat?
2. Well known all over the internet, high googles hits and make sure your name is create god like fear among all modeler. Hit the front page! They wanna see you in it.
3. Quality models at its best, show your models progression from noob to pros to show your authentic work from year to years to show you're genuine modeler. Jaw dropping, prefer somebody wet their pants when they see one.
4. Website or portfolio to show you've done lots of stuff for community and other involvement in game development.Yeah i joined a lot of big development events. Info power.
5. Joined lots of 3d modelling and game development contest or competition and from their you gain creator ranks among all developer. Be a GURU! Master of 3d Yoda.
6. Highly knowledgeable in 3d works and discipline because PR needed for inter communication wirh various developer around the world.
7. Everyone know how to 3d models but not everyone knows how to built 3d models for games format...so be sure you have game programming knowledge. Yeah i know you can make 3d models but can you make it run in the game??....
8. Never talk "bull shit" like you have something big without having something big products to support your comments. I seen a modeler talk like he owns the world but he just made 1 puny crappy models. Let your product do the talking and not your mouth.
9. Know how to built something from scratch with no copy or what so every, design from new ideas not innovation.
Next episode i'll tell you how they get intouch with you and how agreement acieve between you (3d artist/modeler) and the game developer,.
Fear not, ice cream is here.
Fear nothing on sugar, i know i'm going to burn it out soon later though outdoor activity. A chocolate ice-cream and inner milk caramel melting in my tonque. Yum! yum! Its always been after every lunch you should pick up 2 ice-cream to reduce stress and get more sugar in your blood for active brain function. Diabetes? Do you every heard the word exercise? Did you know chocolate is a good consumption to prevent diseases like cancer because it contain doxide to detoxicate harmfull chemical. Dark chocolate is recomended. Sugar keeps you awake and hot all the time so best way to keep up all day in the office. That's a free fact for you so go back to work!
Bad lunch for RM$2.50
Its lunch time. For RM$2.50 you get this. Good looking food doesn't mean they taste good, in my case office cafe food always sucks. It depends who's working the cooking that day so this time i'm munching just 60% potion of food before it destroy my appetite. Remember, if the food doesn't taste good and you bought a whole bunch of it don't force yourself gulping the whole plate clean. You really don't want to ruin you day in the office with bad food odour on your tongue. "Good food always makes life full of happinesss"
Day 7, oh yeah! no computer for next few weeks.
Ok so i broke my ultimate pricey work station computer (my source of partime income station), all i have is my sister's computer to access the internet.... But thank god i manage to complete all my 3d models and design published into the internet/ my websites before it went kaapooofff!!. It would take some $$$ to fix it but well i think it was fated to be that way or must be a hidden message sent by unknown Force that wanted to say " go out and discover the world!!". And so since last week i started to go out adventuring myself on my Mountain bike, into the urban jungle and real jungle, Radio control activity, phtoto shooting, play with my PSP and hanging out with my buddies for a good drinks and stuff. Yeah last weeks lots of worthy activity. It makes PC days looks evil now but i guess the so called "The Force" was saving me away from computer for holiday break. I hope it can help me to recover some loss so i can get back to my PC for another 3d design and model projetc when i really on it. Peace.

UFo?..
Can anyone explain what is that trailing smokes in the sky in our local MIRI city, it occur so daily and never heard any military jet planes flew by which should noticed by public......never ever heard any jets hagging around here for long times. I don't think any commercial passenger planes can manouver like that since the trails lines twisted that much path and it looks it flew straight up at steep angle. Weird... UFO? i give my 70% yes.
